BACKSTORY:
Chief Beef was a natural born chef, starting his life in a small town in Scotland. From a young age he spent most of his time in the kitchen working along side some of the best cooks in his city. When he turned 18 he managed to secure a scholarship at a local cooking school where he excelled and ended up graduating with honors. He worked along side some of the best as a line cook and was eventually offered a job at a local restaurant as a head chef, he was given full creative freedoms here, though what Chief didn't know was that the restaurant was actually a front location for the SCP foundation investigating a lead on a potentially anomalous cook in the area.
During the time of this SCP operation, the MTF operatives who were operating out of this restaurant often frequented the food of Chef Chief. They found his food to be abnormally delicious, it seemed to boost their spirits and make them a bit more effective in the field. Of course this started to draw a bit of suspicions from the MTF operatives who noted that Chief Beef didn't ever seem to miss, some experiments were ran to see if what he was doing was truly anomalous, the food that he prepared was sabotaged and replaced with rotten cuts of the same meat that he planned to use. These cuts were indistinguishable visually from proper cuts of meat. When the Chef Chief Beef prepared the meals somehow they managed to come out perfectly, just as he described them. It was concluded that he was in fact the anomaly they were searching for and he was detained and rehoused without incident to a local SCP facility where he was questioned and further tests were played out to determine what the nature of his anomalous ability is.
After several tests with Chef Chief they managed to deduce during a particularly intense period of testing that Chef Chief refuses to cook without his signature chefs hat, when removed it appears that anomalous abilities that he once exhibited seemed to completely cease, though the chef was still a fantastic cook without the hat he wasn't able to restore rotten foods back to a premium quality dish. It was determined that Chef Chief is in fact not an anomalous being and it was the hat that was reclassified as the SCP. During this process Chef Chief was given two options, he could either forget this all happened and go back to his normal life as an above average chef, or he could join the foundation and work for us as one of our newest head chefs.
