Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?:

- I've spent 9 years deep into roleplaying games, it's kind of my obsession to develop a character and watch them grow from their starting point. Maturing from the different events that hit them and ending in a satisfying way. I want this to be a feeling all players share, making the server into one where the RP element is even more exemplified then it already finds itself being. This position is not only a stepping stone into developing my character, but a chance and opportunity to develop others, as well as the systems and lore of the server. I want to aid and spearhead the theory crafting of multiple events within the server and executive researcher is where that starts.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:

- I'm driven, and passionate about the position. I have a great plethora of amazing ideas for the research department and the server. While I may stumble, I have the drive to recover and adapt learning from my experience. I am also capable of helping aspiring researchers learn about their position, in a way that will set their ambition forward

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?

- 3, however I have only ever submitted 3 and with great consideration for each one. I spend a few hours on everything I write, in order to assure that it is of high quality and beneficial to the field of study the totality of my research extends over. Writing a plot using each study as a stepping stone into the next one, taking the info learned from each to extend the lore knowledge on the target area. Most of my documents aren't posted, but are instead used as tools for demonstrations, or proposals. I believe what makes a document excellent is it's intricate nature and ability to remain interestingly lore accurate. It must demonstrate use of the scientific method and read off a lot like anything you'd find on the SCP wiki. That is what people are reading your document for! Don't duplicate the same results of a study that everyone else has, innovate!

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:

- Well, the responsibilities of an executive researcher are to over watch experiments to assure they are being carried out correctly. To decide if there is a point to specific research proposals and to deny if necessary. To guide and watch over new researchers, and assist them in finding the fun in testing, helping them learn inspiration from whatever they are doing. You must also spearhead critical studies that require the know how of an executive researcher to, well, execute.
However, I think there is additional responsibilities an Executive Researcher holds. As a level 4, people are going to think you're important and you must play the role. You must demonstrate a model roleplaying attitude, in a way to help secure new players in the foundation. Once you hit level 4, you might as well be part of the servers atmosphere because everyone will notice whatever it is you are doing. Make sure what you are doing at any given time, represents the attitude of an executive researcher, and encourages other players to seek similar positions through their own character building.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Christopher Kings spent most of his childhood obsessed with how things "Tick." He wondered why other kids would get angry, or laugh; what made people ambitious or slothful. He saw how psychiatrist would treat these symptoms, rather then delve deep into the machinery of the mind. Upon graduating from high school, he immediately set his ambition ablaze, and sought a masters degree in physics, and psychology. He wanted to have all the knowledge he needed logged in his mind as a tool box to pick apart the consciousness. His ideas seemed eccentric, speculatory, almost too impossible to believe but he pushed through the doubt of his peers isolating himself in his research. Have 2 years of study, he had determined a shocking discovery. That deep down in all humans, there is a link between every human mind. Not metaphorically, but in a very literal sense, something deeper then instinct, something metaphysical. Something that linked all consciousness into a collective, something he called the "Psychospace."
After further ridicule from his peers on this preposterous idea, he decided to present to upload his findings anyway to the research facilities data base. After approximately 2 hours, all documentation uploaded was removed from the database by unknown means at which point he was ordered to report to his superiors office. What awaited him there, was researchers with strange crests upon their coats of a circle with arrows pointing in. They presented an offer of transfer to a different facility, one that was open to his speculations and research. Of course, he accepted, who wouldn't after 2 years of constantly having your ideas pushed aside and seen as insane? He was then asked to make his way to [REDACTED] where he was picked up by an unmarked vehicle and accepted being put unconscious during the trip to the facility. He now pushes headstrong into the research of the Psychospace, and using the knowledge gained to turn anomolous objects, into understood physics.

-The point of this, is to delve deep into the story of SCP-5000 and perhaps eventually lead to an event where we can re enact it.
