Clothing / Weapon Skins - Rules & Requirements​

• All textures must be kept PG - no foul language, gore, or content that is pornographic or could be taken as such should be present.
• Skins should be high-effort and look 'decent'. Here are some things that may result in your skin being rejected, rare exceptions may be made for skins that still look good or add to RP:
  • Pixelated textures (when viewed close up)
  • Use of only 1 image (i.e. slapped onto a skin)
  • Break in continuity of colour scheme (visible 'seams', conflicting colours)
  • High saturation/too bright a colour scheme ('cancer' skins)
  • Skin looks like 'plastic' (alpha too high)
  • Skins solely designed as a meme/joke
  • Use of face textures (except masks/head covers) - may only work for 1 model in a job
  • Designed to make one job look like another (e.g. 'police outfit' for Gangster)
  • Not conducive to RP

NOTE: Skins can meet some of these 'bullet points' and still be accepted, talk to an SA if you have queries.

• If your skin is not approved, only re-submit it after making edits. Don't argue with staff about it.
• Spamming low-effort skins may result in your permission to make submissions being revoked.
• If you repeat a design over different jobs or weapons, use similar names for each skin so that they 'group' together in search. e.g. "{my_skin} Thief", "{my_skin} Gangster" and so on.
• Skins may be deleted at any time if they are deemed by multiple SA's to have been accepted in error.
• The price charged for a skin must be proportional to the effort being put into it. As a guideline, for a skin costing 100k+ we would expect to see fine detailing, crisp textures, and a good overall aesthetic. Similarly, try not to make skins cost too little. Prices may be modified by SAs to levels we deem appropriate.
• Skins designed solely for a gang or business are not allowed unless you have won the right to a gang-exclusive skin in an event. Skins for generic businesses (e.g. 'Gun Dealer Co.', 'Banking Incorporated') are fine.
• Skins designed solely for an individual are not allowed unless you have won the right to an exclusive skin in an event. Exclusive skins can only be used by the creator.
• SAs may make exceptions to these requirements at any time, at their discretion.
