What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would add a new license to the current collection, the containment specialist license. Used for jobs that require personnel to handle or contain SCPs such as the new Gensec containment units acquired through a tryout held by GSD Captains in order to train their people for every situation and make sure that they have the required experience to handle situations that involve skill and decision making when combating SCPs.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I don't think so.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
This would make it so (new) players understand how SCPs work and how to contain them together with MTF E-11 because having people without any knowledge about such things handle difficult scenarios could end in a catastrophe for Site-65.
Another positive would be that there will be more variety to the Gensec department without being such a noticeable change like a new job and an extra tryout for Captains to do is always fun.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
This would mean that a whole new license needs to be added together with all the documents and forms, so a lot of work to get it in order. I don't know how hard it is to add something like that but it will be a lot of work for sure.
Also maybe you can see it as a negative to have more tryouts because now there will be less time for other tryouts since that slot is being taken by the new one.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It would be a welcome addition to have another license after all this time and something to be exited over to get (some extra dopamine is welcome) and I think it would make sense not only for gameplay but also for RP to have personnel go through a tryout to get into the SCU.
Thank you for reading my SCP RP suggestion.
