Maz Marwood is a new name to the majority but is remembered by a few. Maz is an excellent doctor who lived in Pinewood for most of her adult life. She spent all her days researching easier and cheaper ways to treat ill or harmed patients. That's when Pinewood's Rangers saw her as a great asset to successfully retrieving a kidnapped CIVTV News Reporter. The Military base they believed to be part of The Canadian Army was discovered to be much more than what Maz and the Rangers had thought. The Reporter had sent pictures of a weird statue covered in paint and blood, a man who seemed to be on fire.. or made of it, and an orange blob that looked like it was smiling. After the Reporter had his communications cut, The Rangers ordered Maz to follow them in the rescue of their Reporter and it wasn't long before they were all stopped by A-1 forces and a mysterious man in a black suit and eyes that non should remember. The Rangers were Stripped of their weapons and walkie-talkies and interrogated before Maz was. Two gunshots rang off at the same time before she was pulled into the room and interrogated next, making sure to avoid stepping in the blood pooling up on the floor.
Maz was terrified and all she could think was "This is the end". Her friends she knew for years, had been terminated on the spot for not complying with this Man in a Suit and now she was face to face with him.
He asked her what she was doing here and
Maz replied she was only following orders and didn’t want any harm.
The Man said that he should’ve just got rid of all of them just for trespassing on military property, but he offered Maz an option.
To go back to Pinewood and be forced to forget about all of this ever happened or take orders from a better organization. One that helps people in more ways than anyone knew. Make a new life for herself.
Maz had been a Doctor at the facility for over 6 months. She can’t even recall when she started working there. Oddly enough, the only thing she knows is working at the facility. She knows she use to be a convict of a sort they call “D-Class” and had served her 30-day sentence to have a chance to be Facility Staff. All her memories of being a D-Class are foggy and mixed up as if someone was snipping bits of her memory away. She has one memory she can't seem to shake about turning a corner to a big, armored juggernaut wearing green. Her eye was blown out by a single LMG round and was left to die. During the raid, A brave doctor who was around the area helped Maz back to the med bay and performed emergency surgery to remove the bullet that was still in Maz's eye socket. The doctor's work saved Maz from a slow and painful death and was given a single, black eyepatch to cover her left eye. After her 30-day sentence was over, she got into the medical department as a trainee and somehow passed the medical license test without flaw. It’s like Maz was already an experienced medic...
After a couple more months of working for the facility, Maz was now a well-known doctor and psychiatrist to her co-workers and supervisors. She did everything in her power to make sure the ill and injured were properly treated, even when her own life was on the line. After almost a year of hard work and loyal servitude, Maz applied to be a Medical Consultant to better understand her medical team and enforce rules that were not being properly followed. She even took time out of her shifts to train other doctors how to properly diagnose patients and the correct medicines and amounts to use.
Everything was great for Maz until one day, a doctor she had been teaching and training had been approved for the Medical Consultant position she was fighting for. Not angry nor motivated anymore, but defeated, Maz slowly drifted from her Psychiatrist pharmacist passion and started a passion of being a clinical dietitian and pediatric psychologist. Someone who knows exactly what foods certain individuals should be eating and someone who prescribes special diets. While she's been cooking, she's learned special recipes and healthier ingredients that certain McFranchises took into consideration. She was approached by a drafter and sponsored by one that is known and loved by all, hired to sell McProducts to the Foundation.
With her new contract to sell healthy, Tasty, and Affordable fast food to the members of the Foundation. She has also invested in more formal, business clothing. As required by her Contractors, she must present herself as a McFoods Salesman/woman while retaining the company's signature, colorful and fun, tasty-food appearance. Even Maz's eyepatch was remodeled to resemble a cookie to ensure less anxiety from potential customers.
Now Maz knows nothing but feeding those who are hungry in the fastest way possible. Making wonderful, sought-after meals that fill hungry individuals.
"If I can't be a damn good Consultant, then I'll just be a damn good Chef."
