What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

The addition of Daily Login Rewards has much potential for player activity within the servers. Many players, myself included, sometimes find it very difficult to continuously play on the server when there is no end goal that we have in mind. While I do put in effort to join the server everyday due to my Executive Role, I don't really have any incentive to be on site for an extended period of time, other than to assist with my duties as an Executive Researcher. An addition of a Daily Login Reward could potentially assist with many players wanting to stay active on site for an extended period of time. Introducing a Daily Login Reward system could help shift this dynamic by providing players with consistent incentives for logging in each day. These rewards don’t need to be extravagant. They can be things like small bonuses or useful in-game resources would be enough to give players a sense of progression and value for their time.

Here is a following example of how it could be implemented:

If a player is actively playing for two hours, they can get a $2,500 Cash reward that can be claimed and added to their account on Day 1. On Day 2, after playing for two hours, they can get a chemical case that can give many different base chemicals that are not overpowered or sought after significantly and have a high market value, like Potent Duloxetine or Chlorphenamine (Sinus Infection Cure). On Day 3, after playing for two hours, a player could get a random perfect level 30 food drop, or resources involved in food creation. On day 30, a player could potentially get a Perfect instant kill Cyanide etc etc.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Not from my search.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

  • Increased daily logins across the player base
  • Longer session durations, as players stick around to make the most of their time
  • Improved player retention, especially for those who may be drifting away due to a lack of direction
  • A stronger sense of reward and recognition for ongoing participation

A well-structured login reward system can be designed to scale or reset monthly, potentially encouraging long-term commitment without disrupting balance or server economy.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

  • Players might log in just to claim the reward and immediately log off, rather than engaging meaningfully with the game or server activities.
  • If not carefully balanced, daily rewards could flood the server economy with certain resources or items, leading to inflation or devaluation of those items.
  • Coding Hell

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

The addition of Daily Login Rewards should be implemented because it offers a compelling way to enhance player engagement and retention, especially for those who may be struggling with a lack of direction or motivation. While there are concerns about potential misuse (like logging in solely for rewards) or economic imbalance, these can be mitigated with thoughtful design. For example, scaling rewards, resetting the system monthly, or offering non-intrusive bonuses that don’t directly impact the economy can strike a balance.

The real benefit lies in giving players a reason to return to the server consistently, leading to increased activity, longer play sessions, and a greater sense of progression/value of their time, which is critical for retaining a vibrant, committed community. Even simple rewards that don’t drastically impact the in-game economy can encourage ongoing participation, making players feel their time spent on the server is valued.

probably one of the best suggestions would be so so sick! like Money or something would for sure help player pop too!

The Christmas version of this every year gains players logging in to get some fun reward etc, I am sure with NL/Development Team they can construct something meaningful and maybe reward RPable item sweps etc for certain amount of logins etc

A lot of players forget that running a server like this is a business. This is a registered LTD Company and as such to maintain the service and scale further (Which will only benefit the player) I'd even say a premium login tracker would be great for business growth and player retention.

Overall, +Support from me.

NEUTRAL

Although I like the general idea and of course, I like free stuff - This system would have to be properly balanced. What I mean by that is that the daily rewards should be carefully considered, having to play for 2hrs of a day to get said rewards is a bit annoying especially if you have a busy schedule and can only hop on for a certain ammount of time.

Also, getting 2,5k on the first day followed by Potent on the second is a bit ehhh.. Why bother when I could've just used the 2,5k to buy 2 Potents. So it really does depend on the rewards - I think it might be a good idea to let the player choose between cold hard cash and a chem case with higher ranked drops and maybe food crates with better drops ( i.e. the possibility of getting empty pills / potassium cyanide is higher ) and once they get further up they get to choose between money and a low-level skin crate ( with a small chance of getting a knife / key ) or maybe even a bit of VP ( ~100-200 or so )

With proper implementation I'd give it a +SUPPORT

doesnt really cause any issues as far as I would be aware. But don't make it a pay to get more type of thing and it'll be perfectly fine. It encourages player activity and logging into the server so it could work.

+/- Support, leaning +
Free stuff is always nice, but I feel there's a rather difficult conundrum in the value of rewards. If they're too valuable, as you said, server economy dies, but if they're not enticing enough, people won't bother to sign in. Finding the right balance seems like it would take an undue amount of time.
