Why are you applying for Chief of Medicine?
- I would like to further my position is medical.
What makes you suitable for Chief of Medicine?:
- I have been with the medical department for a while now as a combat medic and I was looking to be more helpful with in the department
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
-Broken bones
you will first have the patient follow you into the chemist room. you will ask them to lay down on the x-ray table. once you know what bone is broken you will then type !medic in chat to pull the medic menu up. you will need a beaker, and empty drug bottle and calcium for what ever bone is broken. you will then make the drug by tapping the beaker to the calcium then the beaker to the empty drug bottle. have them eat the bottle and lay back down onto the table to check to see if there is any other broken bones that you missed on the first x-ray, If not they they are able to return to there duties. If there a d-class then you will have a Gensec escort them back to d-block
What are the responsibilities of the Chief of Medicine in RP?:
-The primary responsibility of the chief of medicine would fall under training and guiding new trainees and doctors, assisting people who request help in a role-play scenario, and assisting the director of medicine when needed.
Please give some lore about your Chief of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Ever since Derek White was young he has been fascinated by doctors about how they can fix almost anything about the human body. He spent most of his childhood reading medical books and giving people fake exams. Well many his brother Gin White. When he was in high school he was witness to a robbery gone wrong. After the robber left he went and completely took over the situation providing medical care to the best of his abilities. When the paramedics got there they were shocked to see the that he was doing fine and that Derek had helped and saved him from bleeding out. They recommended him to pursue a job in the medical field. When he was going through collage to get his masters his mom got sick so he had to leave to take care of her. That's when almost everything when wrong. His mom just kept getting more and more sick and no one could figure out why. That's when he received a call about a special treatment that would save his mother. In exchange for the treatment he would have to work at a small military outpost in Canada. When he join the foundation as a medical trainee he was terrified since he hadn't been through collage to get his medical license. he thought that this job would be temporary, but when an Scp breached he spearheaded that operation to deal with all of the injured personal. He fell in love with his work at the foundation. Dealing with the anomoulas to dealing with simple GSW, but after awhile he did start getting bored. That's when he started to move more into research where he met a friendly D-class named Jerome. He would run Jerome through many Safe classed research, but one day he received a summons to the department head's office where he received a classified document about an Scp called Scp-035. He wanted Derek to preform a test about Scp_035. Little did he know it would kill his friend. When he went to Scp-035's containment cell with Jerome and had Jerome put the mask on. The man standing in front of his wasn't his friend anymore. It seemed to be a completely different person. It seemed to be the Scp that was talking with Jerome's voice. He freaked out trying to pull the mask off of his friend with no prevail. The E-11 on site for the test pulled him out of the CC and terminated the test. He then went back to the medical department where he now spends his time as a combat medic.
