Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- Because I would like to continue to help improve the medical department.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- I believe I’ve accrued enough time and experience as a Sr Doctor and Combat Medic that I know most of the procedures we use in the medical department. I have tried to maintain a sense of professionalism, courtesy and kindness when in the medical department and would continue to do so if I became a consultant.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- Psychological Evaluations, I understand this one’s a bit tame but it’s one I’ve done multiple times. A psych eval is critical to the foundation staff as it helps us check in on general moral and mood of our members. While it can be forced by site admin/ dom. Most evaluations come from staff wanting to sit down and check in on their mental health. I have found it most effective to engage in conversation with them and not make the evaluation seem like I’m reading questions off a clipboard despite doing so. I hope continued efforts to improve the psych evals and their effectiveness can lead to a stronger and tougher morale in our members.
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- Consultants are responsible for Surgeries, ECTs, Psych/Physical Evaluations, and Chem orders. Other responsibilities include hosting medical license training and combat medica training. They are the glue that holds their respective fields together.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in: After being transferred from the Site 106 Medical Department in Florida Doug Doug Jones joins the medical team in Site 65. After realizing Combat and healing are his talents he joins the Combat Medic team and assists in the safety and security of the medical department.As well as the wellbeing of the general foundation staff. (Storylines: Combative/ Psychological. Hoping to be the Combative Co Lead.) Thank you for your consideration.
