What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Give access to ERT comms for E-11 COs (Officer & Commander Job)
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Possibly , a quick search of the forums didn't result in finding anything
but it seems like a thing that was discussed at some point
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Reduces clutter in general communication channels (e.g. /c), preventing important information from being lost in spam.
Improves coordination by allowing direct, clear communication between E-11 leadership(People that Should™ know how to combat the breach) and ERT
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Potential for misuse outside of ERT deployments or breaches.
May overlap slightly with existing comms lines (mainly /e11 )
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
ERT is a squad of borderline Demigods that upon reaching site should be given information & orders so they can deal with the code effectively
That can be really hard with all of the comms spam
Since ERT communications are more distinct and less cluttered they allow for much clearer communication , this change would serve as a quality-of-life improvement for coordination
(E-11 COs already have access to ERT radio but that's easily forgotten about , especially during large breaches that ERT gets called for )
