What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Add one of, or ideally both of, the following:
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I suggested that as part of my broader E&TS changes (roles, structure, etc.) suggestion, however that has been put into the backlog due to its scope and requiring SSL/NL to do. This is talking about this specific part, which wasn't really mentioned in the GitHub issue opened, and could be done now, rather than later as part of the broader changes.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It would make it easier to do RP as tech experts, coordinate getting things fixed, etc. - it just would generally be useful, with not too much of a downside. It would also give people on those roles the opportunity to call out in VC things happening to them, rather than them not being able to because they can only type things (e.g. "CI near 914").
Add one of, or ideally both of, the following:
- An in-game comms channel for /e&ts and/or /engineering
- Accessible by Tech Experts, IT Technician, Engineers, SA, IA
- A TeamSpeak channel for E&TS use
- Accessible by all, similar to medical and security

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Lets E&TS staff communicate between themselves better to coordinate
- Gives E&TS staff a usable IC voice channel so they can e.g. call out emergencies quicker
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Possible minging, given the department's current reputation
- Time to config it
