Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
Recently I have gotten back into the server and whilst I have done so I have gained an interest in the work that the research department does, and with that in mind I would like to see how far the level of my research can reach and by becoming an executive researcher I would have an opportunity to elevate the research I create, whilst also being to help others that are new to the department as RSD can be a confusing department in some cases. What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I have held seven senior CL4 roles, two of which were Senior CL4 positions. With that in mind, I have gained extensive knowledge of how the site operates, as well as how RSD functions—particularly during my tenure as E-11 CO. In that role, I led numerous cross-tests alongside RSD while simultaneously managing E-11. This included reviewing the methodologies in place and evaluating whether each test was feasible. A key example of a project I was involved with as an E-11 CO was Project Puppeteer, which was set up by the O5 Council member, the Pupeteer.I also served as the liaison for RSD during my tenure in SA. During that time, I led a project that aimed to test whether bromide could be integrated into an aerosol grenade, with the goal of developing a type of EMP grenade. Additionally, I initiated a project focused on training junior researchers to harness their potential and develop effective cross-tests. I organized several cross-tests across various clearance levels; however, I resigned from SA before they could proceed.
I am passionate about the work I do, and I consistently strive to maintain high standards in everything I take on. This dedication has benefited me throughout my career. For example, after only a few months as an ECA, I was promoted to Senior ECA. Similarly, my work as a GSD captain earned me two medals in recognition of my performance.
Within the department, I have worked on some of the new SCPs, and one that has caught my attention is the VHS tape, which I have previously done research on. I am planning a test that aims to attempt to rebuild a D-class’s memory with fake memories after being exposed to the VHS tape SCP.
I also want to do work with SCP-076 & SCP-330 seeing how 330 effects 076, leading up to this cross test I have developed a new device which is a modified EEG cap that will allow for SCP-076’s brainwaves to be measured, this is one of the two methods alongside heart monitoring which will be used as a way to see how 330 effects 076’s performance.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
So far, I believe I have either 2 or 3 Excellent documents during my time on RSD recently. An excellent document should have the following features:
- Each area should be detailed enough to allow for its decisions and actions to be properly documented and understood by the intended reader
- The document should be well formatted, to allow for each area of the document to be easily accessible
- Pictures are optional; however, they are the only real way of showing that the test happened, and additionally, pictures can set a scene or idea out more easily than words can sometimes
- The document should be informative regarding the matter which is being recorded; however, there should not be any major grammatical or spelling mistakes, whilst avoiding repetition.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- To act as a representative of RSD leadership
- To assist Researchers with creating tests
- Authorising Tests which require authorization from and Exec+
- Acting as a role model for Researchers
- Reviewing documents that require exec approval/review
- Introducing researchers into the department
- Creating RP that represents the RSD department
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
I will be including the lore for all my main characters as they are all a part of a storyline, as Harvey, my first character, had Elias, my main character, as his personal assistant during his time at Site-120. I will also be including a link to a folder that contains a lot of work I have done during my time on SCP-RP.
Elias Graysphire Lore
Elias Graysphire grew up in Germany to both English parents who were apart of the Foundation and located nearby. Elias’ parents were both Executive researchers who worked effortlessly within the foundation during their time working as Researchers. His father worked mainly on Thaumatology and sarkics, whilst his mother focused on biological threats.
After Elias was born, his mother decided to retire from the foundation and take on the duty of being the primary carer for her son. Whilst his father continued his work, and was soon after promoted to Director of Research at Site 54.
During his childhood, he was a bright child who always overachieved when given a challenge. When Elias was 6, he decided to take up go-karting, which he continued to do until the age of 14 after one season in formula 4, due to wanting to pursue his academics as he believed that he was destined to do more than driving during his life.
Elias decided to go to University and study Chemistry at Munich University. He then worked on chemical research for a few years before deciding to follow in his parents' footsteps. During his time in Chemical research, Elias joined Shell and worked on research focused on fuel forms and environmentally friendly alternatives for various fields, including general-use fuels for regular cars.
He joined the foundation with a letter of recommendation from his father. He was able to line up a job as an Assistant for the Site Director of Site 120 Harvey Bridger. He stayed in this role for 2 years before deciding to move to a new site, whilst also pursuing the career that his parents had. He became a Researcher in Site 65 and, since then, has worked on expanding his work. During this time, he has joined a classified project which is run by Executive Researcher Ella Knight.
Whilst this was happening, his younger brother Ronan had already been in the foundation since the age of 22, where he flew up the ranks and is currently an ECA who was for a moment assigned at Site-65; however, he is currently assigned to Site-54.
By this point, his parents had both passed, first his mother and then his father; they left a legacy that pushed Elias to the limit at every occasion to be just like them.
