Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?

I have spent a lot of time giving thought to what department I wanted to primarily play, I considered going back to E11 however I wanted to go into a department that allowed combat, was in LCZ, but also did a unique form of roleplay, I found that the most interesting form of roleplay for me was investigations and detective style work. Once I decided on that I spent some time as an agent and eventually worked my way up to investigator where I experienced the best ISD has to offer, I spent time assisting on investigations, writing arrest reports, disguising, arresting people, and my favorite being tribunals. While I spent my time doing these things it crossed my mind that I wanted to be an inspector. I spent much of my time assisting agents and helping people learn more about ISD, and I've enjoyed it, I have enjoyed not only helping other ISD but also getting involved in important internal issues against people who never thought they would be held responsible for the things they did, and to me that brings a feeling of satisfaction, to be the person who listens to others issues and helps to resolve them. I think that touches on the biggest reason I want to be an inspector, I want to be able to help lower ranks find justice against a person who may seem above them in every aspect while being equal in the eyes of the law, something that many people forget when they throw around there subordinates or even abuse them. I hope to shine a new light on ISD with the people I assist, which is the integrity we uphold and the indifference keep when someone is above them, and I think the best way I can do that is as an inspector.

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:

I have a strong understanding of site protocols such as the code of ethics, code of conduct, legal codex, and site access guidelines. I also have a deep knowledge of investigative procedures as described through our handbook and through experience. I also stay calm under pressure, whether it be from suspects or subordinates who are out of line, I think a very important quality is to be as respectful as possible to people no matter how they treat you, which goes into professionalism. I also approach situations objectively and neutrally and know how to handle CL4 information with discretion. I also have plenty of experience managing personnel from when I was an E11 CSG and when I was command in other servers. I also have experience in resolving people's personal conflicts whether it be in or out of character, I think it's important for people who work together to keep a healthy relationship as it might interfere with operations. I also assist agents when they need help with arrests, duties, protocol, etc, which all helps me in leading people.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:

I described some of it in the question above but, an ideal Internal Security Inspector is objective, disciplined, and professional. They would prioritize integrity, leadership, and enforcement of the COC, COE, and codex above all. They should try their best to stay neutral during investigations and focusing on facts rather than assumptions. They must be detail oriented in their work and be able to notice details others might overlook, they should also be decisive in high pressure situations and show strong leadership and communication skills. Most importantly to me, they must keep themselves grounded to help others, enforce fair standards, and remember that being an inspector isn't just for convenience to you, it's for convenience to others.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:

First off, not as many as I would like to, which actually is one reason I want to be an inspector, so I can get to help assist in major, arrests, investigations, and RP. However, there are a few that shine out to me in my time as ISD (IA for some of that). In late 2024 I was lead on an investigation into a chef for possibly being involved in a hit ring against CL4 personnel. in late 2024 I also led an investigation into a huge CI raid into ethics wing which almost resulted in the kidnapping of an ECM, the reason I got involved was due to the nature of the incident, the possibility of inside help, and the involvement of "the engineer" (it was an event), I collaborated with O-1 command a little for the document. I also have 5 arrest reports, I usually don't make one unless the arrest interests me or I think there is more to what happened. One arrest report that I enjoyed the most was one done on the arrest of a combat medic who was giving bad drugs to people and ended up turning the chief of security insane, I did a lot of interviewing, took notes, and worked with medical command, there was also an odd treatment given to the security chief that was authorized by non-medical staff and ended up playing a role in the events afterward.

As far as what I think makes a good document, I think it goes into a few categories. Setting, format, punctuality & grammar, and interaction. I'll start with the setting, when I read an investigation, arrest report, or test log, I don't want to feel like I'm just reading any document, I want to feel like I'm reading a document from the SCP foundation. So I will add in SCP logos, department names, SCP protocols, or anything else that sets the tone to tell you that you are reading an SCP foundation document. Format is also super important, this also helps with the setting but also makes your document much more readable and navigatable, which is super important since your document isn't just a book, it's a report, and it should be easy to find the information you're looking for. Punctuality & grammar are also super important, you can use certain words that sound like a person from the SCP foundation is using them which helps with the setting and doesn't sound like something some random guy said, I also want to be able to read it without having a stroke. And last but not least, interaction, this is super important to me and I've started using it more in my documents, go talk to people, go get quotes, work with other branches, gather as much information as possible, be thorough. It helps a ton with setting and making it feel like an actual document from the SCP universe, I know I've said that a lot but that's what's most important to me when I'm reading a document.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:

Inspectors have a lot of responsibilities compared to other Jr. CL4 positions, for starters, they have to assist CL3 ISD personnel with documents, training, arrests, investigations, and tribunals. They have to ensure all ISD are up to standards and are staying professional and duty-driven. On top of being the first command interacted with in ISD they also have to ensure that the foundation as a whole internally is following protocols and laws set by foundation command and administration, which includes holding CL4s responsible through investigations and tribunals. And on top of all of that, they also have to maintain the health and safety of the site as a whole.

Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:

Leadership is more complicated than most think, psychologically people tend to follow confidence, compassion, integrity, and fairness above other traits such as commanding people around or acting authoritative with no guidance. On the outside, they may do what they say but it isn't true leadership, something I have learned is that people like that are abandoned by others in times of most need, and never truly hold people's loyalty when it's challenged. I have learned a lot from that and have come to show trust in others, micromanagement is a sign of bad leadership as it shows that you don't trust the people you lead, and makes them feel bad, and doesn't really help. I also think discipline helps me lead as someone who shows restraint and only does what's necessary may be seen as more fair and trustworthy. I would work as hard as possible to earn respect, not demand it, a trait which is often lost with people and makes them insufferable. I have a lot to improve on as well and I think that improving along with the people you lead gives a better sense of connection with them and makes a more healthy relationship overall in the department.

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:

The lore of my character is ever-expanding especially since I'm indecisive but as it stands Elias and his brother were both highlighted by the foundation after they spent time doing tests on a physics teacher who they believed had certain abilities, they would purposefully give equations that they knew when would struggle on in hopes that he would make a mistake, once a mistake was made the laws of physics in that general area would alter. They noted down their tests and theories and when the SCP foundation caught wind of the incidents they took note of the two's curious drive for knowledge. The SCP was designated 4769 and they pushed for the two to go through the best possible education paths and eventually approached both of them to be employed by the foundation, Elias went into E11 and his brother went into reality-bending SCP research. After a long tenure in E11 eventually reaching CSG Elias decided that he wanted to take a break from the foundation, he resigned his position and was gone for many months. He came back with a new interest in ISD and crime, he did rejoin E11 but spends most of his time in ISD, he's picked up many skills from being in E11 which helps him in gaining new skills in ISD. Storyline-wise wise my character was involved in many 008 tests, as well as the documents I mentioned earlier regarding the investigation into the ethics kidnapping attempt, as well as the hit ring on CL4 personnel, he's also assisted in investigations of a few CL4 personnel, and many tests. I have the lore of my character down and will add onto it as I go but I want to open up more storylines if I am an inspector and turn a new leaf for my character.

Father approves of this one. He won’t stop screaming. He won’t stop screaming until I give him what he wants.

I am one of his two first line supervisors, and let me just say that he's the BEST. DAMN. INVESTIGATOR.

I'm proud to call this dude ISD, and will even go so far as to say he's the pride and joy of our department. He does his task right, does what's required of him and more.
