What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I myself tend to uphold a very strong level of commitment and roleplay within the roles I chose to partake in, atop my prior overall experience within the server as a whole. I enjoy pushing Roleplay within this community, and the Assistant positions can be one of the best outlets for said RP, permitting decent coverage from all factors. With this position, I intend to gather my bearings fully within the server, re-learning current affairs, and pressing onwards with the council once again. I understand what comes with the position, what is expected, and I know how to uphold the expectations provided to this role.
What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
The responsibilities of the Overseer Assistants is to help bridge the gap between Site Command and the rest of the Site Staff, they act as the direct line of communication to the overseers, and generally enact the councils will for them if they deem it so. They will generally work to ensure the sites Code of Conduct is being followed and upheld, while working with ISD when applicable to maintain this enforcement. Generally speaking, they will act as CL4 representatives for the foundation, conducting themselves on site befitting of CL4 personal.
Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
Generally speaking, I wish to dip my toes back into the CL4 scene of the foundation within the server, and I thought Overseer assistant would be the best introduction. I am unsure what my end goal will be, but I at the very least want to reform connections with the active player base in Alpha-1 and the Council. Outside of that, I just wish to engage in roleplay provided being a member of the assistant program.
Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
**The Faint Hum of the ceiling lights can be heard in the sterile room.**
**The one way window overlooking the room holds two occupants... with one inside of the sterile room.**
"Well, the date is.. Feburary ██ ████"
"Time is, 1521."
**One of the occupants read out this within the observation room.**
"Bring in the Doctor."
**Doctor Vastila enters the room upon instructed, taking in his surroundings and taking a seat.**
**Shortly after, another person enters the room, holding a briefcase... They are wearing a light blue suit with an ISD patch on their shoulder.**
"Greetings, Dr. Vastila... I am Jason Miffs, and I have some questions for you regarding Incident XA-312." - Jason Miffs.
**Dr. Vastila pauses for a moment... collecting his thoughts before staring bluntly at the observation window.**
"Very well then, lets get this over with." - Dr Vastila exhaled when he spoke.
**The Interrogator lays their briefcase down, before unlatching it and pulling out a few documents with images.**
**The Documents would be layed onto the table, including a few images of deceased corpses with grotesque growths extending out of them.**
"Now then, Dr. Vastila, for the record you have been a long standing medical professional on Site ██ yes?" - Jason Miffs notes.
"Yes, that would be correct, until we received the evacuation order." - Vastila states with a hint of annoyance.
"I see, now then, within the medical field, you are already granted Clearance Level 4 privileges, so you are aware of several SCP's housed within the site, correct?" - Jason pries.
"That would... be correct. I am aware of what caused the sites deservicement, the alarms of the nuclear warhead still haunts me to this day... not to mentions the screams." - Vastila states.
"I still remember when the assignment came in, the request to cut open one of those... things. We had to wear Grade 3 protective gear before even approaching the chamber, and I knew what would happen if I caught it." - Vastila continues...
"Ah... yes. Now then, Dr Vastila... Who was the one overseeing the event?" Jason request.
"That... would be Dr. ██████. He was at the time the Lead Research for that SCP." Vastila responds.
"Do you believe that proper precaution was taken to ensure containment of the anomaly during the experiment?" Jason ask.
"No, and I voiced that with the Doctor, but he shrugged it off, you can find this within my report." Vastila retorts.
"Yes... yes, we noticed it within the report. You know, we understand that your decision making is the reason why this stayed... 'Self Contained.' Multiple reports indicate a complete disregard to security during this test, but you managed to convince security staff to make adjustments to the test under the nose of the Doctor." Jason notes.
"I... did the best I could... I... could of... done better. So many lives... lost... because of that incompetent fool. I do not regret what I did." Vastila states.
"Yes... the termination of Doctor... ██████. Not desirable, wasted potential... which is why you are here."
**The Interrogator catches himself... reviewing his notes and making a glance to the observatory room.**
"Well then... Doctor, we are satisfied with this interrogation. Consequences and Rewards will follow you for your actions, however my job here is done... expect mail to come your way along your personal computer. You are dismissed, Doctor." Jason says.
**With that, Dr Vastila steps up, and leaves the room. Leaving the Interrogator alone with the two in the observatory.**
