Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?: I feel like I have a good flow in the Medbay community, and I genuinely enjoy the interactions I get to have on a daily basis. I feel like I can provide good guidance, and that I can help those who need help in a better way as a Consultant.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?: The experience that I have gained through doing Medical RP, as well as being pretty good at improvising in situations that aren't written in the medical guidelines. Overall, I like to think that I provide good roleplay, and consistently act with professionalism.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice: A Psych Eval, otherwise known as a Psychological Evaluation, is a test used to determine the mental state of a given member of personnel. This evaluation is done through a series of questions and agree/disagree statements that are provided to the individual being tested. Their answers give insight into their mental faculties and overall psychological condition. It is from there that the one proctoring the test can refer to a Consultant, and a decision is made from there as to whether or not the patient will receive medicine and/or counseling
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?: Medical Consultants are the some of the most experienced in terms of medical knowledge, and act as repositories of that knowledge for those below them. They work under the Director(s) of Medicine to manage Medbay and standard Medical practices, as well as the other groups that work within Medbay.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Eugene Wynnsor is an ancient man, regardless of timescales, he looks to perpetually have the physical age and appearance of someone in their late eighties. He is never seen without a cane at his side. He has practiced in a wide variety of medical fields, and seems to have an intrinsic understanding of a wide range of anomalous conditions, both in people, and in anomalies themselves.
I think it would be neat to have Eugene one day perform a biopsy on certain SCPs, such as 939, or the body of someone wearing scp 323, the wendigo skull. Or perhaps on some tissue samples of 682. Perhaps these biopsies can be done in tandem with RSD and their own tests.
This may just be a foolish dream, but it would be cool if Eugene, working with some RSD executives, created (or creates) the immortal flesh sample after figuring out how to refine 682 tissue samples. That could explain why Eugene looks the way he does despite a far greater age.
This could provide a canon, in-character way for the sample to exist as it does now, if one does not already exist.
