Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:180694545
Discord name: Greg
For how long have you played on CG SCP: A year give or take
Age: 20
In what country are you located?: United States
Time zone: Mountain Time
Character name(s): Bob "Boogly"
Civilian name: Bob "Boogly"
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- N/A
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- I have received warnings in the past, from what I can remember mainly from when I was playing GENSEC or D-Class; that being said I have learnt from all warnings and rarely am the cause of an admin sit.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I have started taking interest in helping JRs and even normal researchers when it comes to test ideas, documents, and general guidance. I am interested in being able to help the research department as I believe that there is room for improvement in terms of structure and improved guidance for new research staff.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- I have learnt through my year on the server, focusing on research, how to make excellent documents, how to make engaging tests, and how to engage with test participants to lead to the amazing research RP experiences which I belive to be the heart of SCPRP. I believe research is a special department and I want to be more involved in bettering it.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I have written a few excellent graded documents, what makes a document excellent is being content dense but organized. I believe the index should be clearly labelled with page numbers, and that there should be relevant and not excessive images to really make the document stand out.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
-Authorize testing, review and grade documents, perform groundbreaking research, uphold professionalism of all research members, guide new members, report conduct violations.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in: My Character Bob "Boogly" is a bit of an oddball. A leader in the research department, he focuses most time guiding less experienced researchers through their ranks, assisting and allowing for joint testing frequently. As such, most storylines would involve less experienced research members and probably some LCZ tests. I believe it is important to include less experienced research staff so that they get invested and really put their effort into producing great research and documents. When my character does his own testing, he prefers interrogations/interviews over termination or sampling tests.
