Time zone: GMT
NATO name (regiment and rank): Eyes [JAF LTCOL]
USSR name (regiment and rank): Eyesistad [ABT PSC]
Civilian name: Eyes

-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-
Do you have any experience as a high rank on MilitaryRP?: I've consistently held high regimental ranks throughout my time playing MRP, notably UAF/JAF COL for around 3months in 2023, in ISAF I was MAJ after a long stint as CPT, and my current rank of JAF LTCOL has been held for the last month, after being in the CO team for around 6 months.
-
What makes you the best candidate for High Command?: I believe my long server and community experience gives me a great boost over other candidates; having this allows me to be able to engage and motivate other players. It also shows my commitment to the server and NATO itself, having spent a long time playing in the faction in leadership roles helping new/existing players improve through trainings and exercises, such as teaching people to fly in JAF and eventually how to dogfight.

List your in-game ranks on MRP: JAF: LTCOL ABT: PSC

List your strengths and weaknesses:
I believe my strengths are:
1. Leadership - my time in the JAF CO/RC team has allowed me to lead small teams and the entire regiment simultaneously - be it in a war or training scenario. I've even had the opportunity to lead wars which has been great fun and a good learning experience. This is obviously crucial for NHC as it is one of their main responsibilities.
2. Communication - JAF is a high pressure environment during a war with constant callouts and communication required to be taken in and acted upon. During my long stints in the regiment I have been able to improve my skills in communicating, especially in a busy voice chat with constant targets and callouts being relayed. We also sit in voice chats with 17thAR, working together as 5th to engage in wars more effectively as a joint force. Moving this across to NHC, they are constantly in communication with all regiments across the faction, in wartime changing pushes / strategies and calling out enemy movements - to peacetime requesting missions, FOB building and other peacetime activities.
3. Adaptability - Constant critical thinking is key to flying a helicopter, and having to make short term alterations due to changing circumstances in the dynamic environment of a wartime . This is the same during leadership of a war as NHC can be easily transferred.
As for my weaknesses:
1. Management of conflicts - Sometimes I can find it hard to handle disputes amongst players, sometimes I can be too easily pleased / charmed. I think I can work on this though.
2. Impatience - Everybody wants everything now and I'm no different, sometimes I can get a bit hot headed and make short term bad decisions, such as taking up heli after heli and losing and losing.
3. Lack of experience - It's clear, I've never held a senior leadership position on the server. It might take me some time to build up the necessary knowledge, skills and tactics to become a great NHC member.

Please give some lore about your HC character and what storylines they would be involved in: Growing up in a faulty care system, Eyes grew up in a small town on the outskirts of the city. Always gazing at the sky at passing planes and helicopters, he always dreamed of becoming a pilot. Spending time of building and collecting model planes, he was determined to turn the dream to a reality.
After leaving secondary education with top grades, he joined the military in the hour of need - a conflict in Afghanistan, he conscripted to the United Air Force for the United Allied Nations. He worked his way up all the way through the ranks to become the Colonel of the regiment. He witnessed the UAN collapse and NATO reform from the Ashes, staying loyal to the Air Regiment now JAF.
Now with his wealth of experience and a desire to lead, Eyes is hopeful to become a member of the high command - his dream of becoming a pilot shaping him into a leader who believes in the power of collaboration and the importance of every regiment's contribution.

What are the responsibilities of HC in RP?: Within RP, HC are responsible for:
- Leading NATO: Simple, leading wars, executing peacetime operations (be it FOB building, executions, kidnappings, warfund missions), leadership within High command is the most crucial aspect.
- Maintaining activity of regiments: Active communication and work within regiments is important to maintain the health and activity of all regiments.
- Encouraging active roleplay: Similar to above, making sure peacetime and wartime activity is high through leadership.
-
What are the responsibilities of HC out of RP?: Outside of RP, HC are responsible for:
- Maintaining regimental health - ensuring positive numbers, activity, active CO's doing their duties.
- Ensuring all Reg docs are up to date (Forms, Rosters, Documents)
I'm aware there's no spots available at the minute but hopefully I can be considered if a spot opens up.
