Content Suggestion Flare Gun | Suggestion

What does this suggestion change/add:
Make flares have a slow decent after reaching a certain height within the air, similar to how flares work IRL.
Allow the usage of the flaregun whilst in the DBNO state. (Crawling & Dying)

This would work mostly on surface given it's big open size. (Maybe HCZ crossroads but tbh nobody is using a flare down there)
It would also allow downed individual's who have purchased the flaregun from a dispenser or the gun vendor to relay their almost exact position for allied players to assist and help them.


Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Not as far as I'm aware.

Possible Positives of the suggestion:
Add more gameplay dynamic's with flare gun usage, instead of it being a meme tool or SCP-939 sampling equipment.
Flares can hover over the sky signifying to allies or enemies a great deal of importance in the location it was launched from.
Downed players can receive medical help with a faster response time.
Players who purchased the flaregun perma weapon will get more usage out of it.


Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Development time
Minge usage of the flaregun (Expected out of anything on the server)


Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The flaregun as of now serves no real purpose outside of launching them into GOI bases or it's usage in SCP-939 sampling.
It's a waste of a permaweapon and dispenser item besides it's use as a "fun" tool.
Adding more features onto the flaregun such as this would increase it's usage and importance when it comes to roleplay & combat on surface.
