Denied Foundation Dimension Raid Counter Options

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
- Allows the use of cameras to identify dimensional travellers in the rules
- Makes Tesla Gates knock dimensional travellers outside of their dimension in the same manner as a Scranton Reality Anchor

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Staffing cameras will give Foundation some level of RP relevant skill expression in identifying dimension raids by properly staffing the camera systems
- Will give a real incentive for Foundation players to properly utilise the camera systems for security reasons as they are currently underused
- Adding this function to Tesla Gates will give Foundation some level of passive dimension raid defence
- Knocking dimensional travellers out of their dimension for passing the Tesla Gates gives the Foundation an early warning, preventing CI from reaching their objective without any contest
- CI will have to emphasise greater skill expression and coordination by using Deep Covers or members of the Main Raid team to knock the Tesla Gates

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- There is no Tesla Gate protecting Floor 3, which will make it a persistent target for CI dimension raids
- SCP-22145 will be knocked out of their dimension when passing through Tesla Gates despite being a passive SCP

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
- It makes sense that the SCP Foundation would equip it's camera systems with the ability to track anomalies and dimensional travellers
- It makes sense that a Tesla Gate designed to interact with anomalies would also be able to interact with dimensional travellers
- Will provide an RP friendly way to give the Foundation players some utility in countering dimension raids without having to make major edits to dimensions content

I like this idea a lot. I am not a fan of the dimensional update due to the fact it has one of the most limiting counter plays out of the entire gameplay loop of the server; me waiting 15 minutes to deploy another scranton which won't even kick the dude out of the dimension unless they're in a chokepoint and unable to move moment, there needs to be a greater level of counterplay.
Having the entirety of one faction just appear inside your offices and get you with zero knowledge or warning is not exactly fun and removes any risk/reward for raids. Why bother raiding without the dimension if you can just get a friend to hop on MC&D and give you a free ticket with zero counterplay...
Overall the dimension update was an L in my personal opinion and any additional forms of counterplay towards it would be welcomed.

in what way can i ask? Is like like whenever you go through a tesla, you get kicked out, even if you dont touch the electricity?

In the same manner as a Scranton Reality Anchor - so if you touch it's zone of influence you get pulled out of the dimension.

Although this would encourage keeping teslas on constantly, which isnt very fun (Legends say O1 CPT Corbin is still dying from teslas each day...)

tesla job is to deal with scp not to be use against ci

most of the issues with the dimension update was just created because SL + SSL made horrible rulings around the SCP's and new stuff in the dimension update

Generally good idea
Im under the impression that cameras can already be used though, no? There is no official rule or ruling stating the opposite, nor have I ever been told such by staff

im ngl, foundation players already meta or whatever dimension raids enough, both sides can easily see a dimension raid aslong as their SOP is active and does scouting

only issue is shadow dimension which already has some nerfs proposed iirc

The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

Reason:
It doesnt make sense for Cameras to be Multi Dimensional and see into other dimensions. The Tesla gates part, would be too strong and remove the point in dimensions raids as a whole because factions wouldnt be able to make it Past entrane zone.

However we are looking to into counter play for dimension raids
