No https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/application-gamemaster-uk.38333/ I am very sorry about this application; I shouldn't have lied or used AI. How many hours can you be on everyday?:
7 or more hours a day.
Do you have any previous experience as a Gamemaster/Event Manager in a community:
No
Do you have any advanced skills that would benefit the GM team, such as PAC-3, dupes building, art creation and others? If yes, give us your best example of putting that skill into practice:
No, it would be my first time as a GM.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Foundation Department/MTF:
Everyone would gather at an arena, form two-person teams, and put on a show that others could watch; this would determine who the best combatant is. It is essentially a PvP event featuring a leaderboard or arena ranking; whoever is at the top by the end of the night wins a prize—such as a title, a weapon skin, or a weapon of their choice.
Please list one RP Enhancement for a Non-Foundation Group:
They would spawn in front of a lumberjack's cabin and go inside because they want to build a new town. The lumberjack explains what is needed, hands out pickaxes and axes, and tells them to gather materials so he can show them how to craft items. After gathering and crafting, they would build a wooden town together—and if it looks good, it could even be kept in the game.
Please list one Event idea for the United Nations Global Occult Coalition:
Since the United Nations Global Occult Coalition is a UN body, they naturally handle pandemics as well. The scenario begins with a portal spawning and the team being transported to a city—such as NYC—where an outbreak of SCP-008-02 is underway; naturally, this must be stopped. At the start, players can choose one item to have spawned in for them, and they have 20 minutes to work with a GM to construct defenses against the waves of enemies. Hidden items useful for fighting the zombies are scattered throughout the city.
Please list one Event idea for the Chaos Insurgency:
CI receives intelligence that a convoy will be driving around on the surface for ten minutes at a specific time; this gives them a chance to attack it to earn warhead tokens or hacker upgrades. However, it can also be dangerous, as they do not know the convoy's route, the number of vehicles, or how they are equipped.
Please list one Event idea for the SCP Foundation:
I’d organize a scavenger hunt. Everyone starts in the lobby and gets a clue—for example, "Don't look him in the eye."
When you reach SCP-096, there would be a note with the next clue and a number or letter—like "Don't blink"—and so on. At the end, you’d find three safes and have to enter the password; there are three of them so there can be three winners.
Please list one Major Event or Map Change idea (Involving all sides and the entire server):
Here is how I would handle a map change:
First of all, it wouldn't happen instantly but would be spread out over a week or two. The Foundation facility would start to show cracks in the walls—tiny ones at first, then increasingly more. I’d have asteroids rain down on the surface a few times a day; over time, the Site would become increasingly devastated and fall into disrepair. The Site would request support from another Site, leading to an operation on a specific day involving trucks and helicopters. Once everyone had evacuated the facility and was watching from a distance, the structure would collapse—the same process would apply to the other organizations. However, the CI would try to intercept the transport—since SCPs and D-Class personnel would be among the cargo—leading to a massive shootout involving a large number of people.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable? Include one example, avoiding the typical answers if possible:
If an event isn't well-planned, you end up constantly having to improvise, which causes delays—though that falls on the team. However, issues can also arise with users—for instance, if someone thinks it’s funny to play soundboard clips or fails to follow the rules. That’s why events should ideally always be supervised by multiple team members.
And finally, what do you hope to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
I hope that by becoming a GM, I can enhance the fun and the roleplay situations, and get closer to the community. I want to run really cool events and provide support; since I don't know that much right now, I’d like to immerse myself more in Garry's Mod and learn more in the process.
