Denied Give FO a version of the Neuro Controller to encourage more Passive breach rp.

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would add a way for FO to use a Neuro Controller like device to allow SCPs like 049, 035, and 7722 to passive breach.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I do not believe so.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
The main positive I can see is allowing for a lot more passive breaches, this will allow research to have much more creative rp scenarios, such as 049 showing his surgery up close to a researcher or doctor. Another positive is it will give SCPs like 049 and 035 much more to do besides the usually sit in your cell and wait encouraging more SCP RP.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
The only thing i could see is the scps breaching mid RP but the controller could potentially have a thing where they can only breach once they return to their cell.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This suggestion should be accepted because it would encourage research to push the boundaries of what is possible in RP and to preform never before done tests. This will also allow people who never enjoyed SCP because of the waiting aspect to have some RP and fun while they wait on the breach timer. Causing more RP amongst SCP and FO is something ive wanted to see for a while and I think this is a really good way to encourage it!

Neuro Controllers would very likely make people like E-11, SA, SC, etc feel safer around a passively breached SCP (and feel safer authorising it).

However SCPs can already passive breach, SCP-049 can already show his surgery and do surgery with medical, SCP-035 can be allowed to walk around and do research, even a very hostile SCP like SCP-076 could technically do a passive breach and be chill.

Basically I think although it could be cool, SCPs for Foundation can already be authed for a passive breach and actually I think it's more interesting the idea that the SCP is able to "snap" at any moment and become full hostile.

Aside from what else has been argued here about SCPs already being able to passive breach, @Niox put it best, IMO:

If your incentive to roleplay as RSD with SCP's is to force them to be brainwashed (Removing all characteristics from them), just so you can have an easy pass to do slop tests, you aren't here to Roleplay, you're here to fuck about and win at the game.

I agree that there should be more emphasis on passive breach and passive breach RP (Please, let 682 passive breach. Please. It'd be SO funny.)

But making the server less asymmetric to do so makes less sense to me. Plus the fact that this is still a new addition to the server and plus my personal grievance that I have raised the topic of the Neuro Controller here in suggestions and how it could be good for RP on multiple different occasions over the past year and people are surprised pikachu face and getting mad about CI getting something, when this was known. Am I the only person in this community willing to read

Steal it from CI base then give it to RSD to maybe do some sort of decryption or deciphering with it, maybe find a way to create your own version of it.

I've seen the replies on this and I'm not saying "Oh yeah just give cis thing to FO." I'm saying to make a version akin to it because whenever i hear about people passive breaching a lot of E-11 complain over it because they do not want SCPs out. Which is fair but at the same time research is kind of deprived of actual new and exciting experiences so I believe making SOMETHING that will allow E-11 to be able to safely passive breach an anomaly without it having a chance of causing chaos will be fun for both sides, also i have spoken with people who used to do SCP RP but the thing is they stopped due to the sheer amount of pushback and lack of RP for certain SCPs.

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons.

We are currently not adding an alternative version of the neuro controller for FO because the existing neuro controller is still in the testing and feedback-gathering phase. We also believe that adding a neuro controller meant to control RP forcefully 24/7 isn’t the best choice. This would allow you to dictate the actions of the SCP instead of letting it act independently and come up with its own ideas, effectively placing you in full control of the RP situation or test.

Additionally, nothing is stopping you or other GOIs from raiding or infiltrating CI to obtain one if you are aware of it IC. While we will implement changes to the system, we will not accept requests for features to be added simply because another faction has them in the coming weeks.

Lastly, CI needs to exfil with an SCP, which involves either fighting, beaming, and capturing the SCP while also defending against interfering GOIs. Adding this to F would turn it into a complete power control device.

You may suggest a similar suggestion in the Future.
