Gmod freezeing On All Instances

Everytime i attempt to load into the scp server i am met with a frozen screen, either my game has to be in windowed to close or i restart my computer. With every attempt it freezes on 1/53 Retrieving workshop files. Ive tried reinstalling, uninstalling all my addons, restarting my computer, and reinstalling CSS content. Im just tryna play and have a good time

@Cosmic along with mentioning this in the SCP discord (for best effect) also try uninstalling the content files acctualy stored on your computer (not on the workship) uninstalling gmod then reinstalling and then connecting. im not good with this so this is all i can think of that might work as i have had to do it in the past as well

Thank you but i found the problem, did not have the "Download Addons from mulitplayer" option on, however ran into another problem with connecting. with every fix a problem arrives, been trying to play for the first time for mulitple days
