Your in-game name: Arnold vineitti
Your SteamID: 7484927347583882
Your steam community link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/7484927347583882/home
Date of ban: 11/8/2022
What is your exact ban reason (shows when you try to connect): Fail rp class-E, stacked bans class A
Who banned you: Green
Ban length?: 8 DAYS!
What server were you banned on?: (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Link a copy of the in-game rules here (the url): https://www.civilgamers.com/community/threads/scp-rp-rules.2244/
What will you do to stop this from happening again: dont hide from the nuke using a ingame feature
Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned? yes all of them.
Why should you be unbanned: I was playing class-D and a nuke was going off. I ran by 860 and thought i should go in there to survive! I was panicing when i did it. I survived and then got pulled into a admin sit..... The admin said he stated in ooc right before the nuke went off that going into chess table and 860 is fail rp. Like i said i was panicing so I did not see ooc. He also said its fail rp to hide because "you dont know it was a nuke going off as a class-D." I think thats Bullshit. a literal standard nuclear siren is going off, and It said a Alpha Warhead was detonating how would i not know its a nuke...
"1.2 Don’t FailRP - FailRP stands for "Fail Roleplay". It's when someone acts in a very unrealistic way that their character would not do."
what I did was not very unrealistic. As class-D we know about 860, and it takes us to another dimension; somewhere far away from any nuke!.
The first time I joined that same situation happened and I hid in 860 as a jr research with others, so i thought I was allowed to do this ever scince i joined the server.
How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?: I will read the rules VERY thoroughly!
Why do you want to rejoin this server?: sometimes its fun, somtimes its like this...

Hello IRONGRINDER321,
I was the one that banned you for entering 860 to avoid the nuke. Before the nuke detonated, I also put in OOC for everyone not to go into 860 or use chess tables to avoid the nuke. Doing anything besides going to surface to survive the nuke is considered FailRP.
1.2 Don’t FailRP - FailRP stands for "Fail Roleplay". It's when someone acts in a very unrealistic way that their character would not do. Decisions must be realistic and players must stay in character.

Its not unrealistic to run away from a nuke. Also as a class-d we know about 860 and that it takes us to another dimension. somewhere far away from any Warhead.

Appeal Denied

Hi @IRONGRINDER321,

Thanks for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

I'm denying your appeal as it's FailRP to enter SCP-860-1 to avoid the nuke. Due to the nature of SCP-860, when the facility is destroyed, you'd have nowhere to safely return to. Assuming that you also exit the same way you entered, you should know that the door inside SCP-860-1 can not be destroyed/opened once closed. As a Class D, you don't have automatic knowledge of SCP-860 or SCP-860-1.

You may re-appeal in 1 week
