What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Combatives who equip Containment Beams or Heavy Weapons should no longer be able to run at 20 mp/h while using Potent Duloxetine. These massive weapons should realistically slow the user in RP as they are.. Heavy.

This is moreover a suggestion caused by potent duloxetine usage, but knowing that won't get nerfed. This is a good alternative.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
N/A

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
  1. Improves realism and immersion by making the handling of heavy weapons feel more impactful.
  2. Encourages strategy, instead of running away at 20 mph from 682 so he can't get you with an auger or as a CI getting an auger from 914 and running into the hallway and killing everyone in about 3 seconds.
  3. Adds less goofiness to containment breach and raids as players can’t just speedrun away from danger whilst wearing enough equipment to crush an average man.
  4. Giving light and heavy weapons distinct advantages and trade-offs sounds better for the pvpers of the server rather than just BIG GUN KILL ALL, I WIN EZ. Heavy weapons are supposed to thrive in defensive enviroments mostly, not offensive.
  5. As an SCP enjoyer, nothing's more goofy than thinking of a scenario where I'm unable to kill an e-11 running at 20 mph beaming me so that I can't run and then 2 other E-11 with augers just slaughter me as I can't touch them either as the containment beam decreases SCP speed hugely and unless you're 076 or a ranged attacker like TGs or 8837, you're pretty much screwed.
  6. Just making potent duloxetine less broken is a +1 in my books.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
  1. The whining of Surface PVPers in Suggestion Comments.
  2. Less usage of Potent Duloxetine by breaking bad roleplayers.
  3. Stronger SCP Breaches if E-11 can't abuse potent with Heavy Weapons.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:

I care less about the surface combat in this suggestion as I'm always bias against all the factions on the surface for just generally turning the server combat-orientated but for the SCP gameplay and general gameplay realism, seeing heavy weapons be incredibly powerful is fine with me, in fact I think the auger is quite weak against SCPs. But seeing as the way to fix that is just going speed-freak with potent so that they can't catch you, and I know potent won't be nerfed, I'm going to have to go with making it so that heavy weapons and beams have a weight impact on the person.

Plus, I've seen CI rush into an area with an auger from 914, and wipe an entire corridor. Generally heavy weapons should be as in the name. HEAVY.
