I am trying to play as engineer and i need to fix doors and repair terminals. But i can't find any doors or temrinals to repair? Can anybody help me or explain how it is done?

So there's the bald guy with glasses (IT technician) and there the engineer. IT technician fixes computer terminals and the engineer fixes doors and computers, to fix a door find a broken one (sparking camera or a door constantly opening and closing by itself, will make a special noise) select the repair tool and press mouse button 1 on it.
