Is surface considered satisfactory to the mapping team/dev team?

I am asking this question as was about to make a suggestion relating to a map overhaul in the future TM of the current artic wasteland. I understand the site takes priority in terms of mapping but given that more GOC content is coming and mercs are on the horizon it may be appropriate to give it greater depth. Also here's some sick music:

Give what greater depth? If you want more context into what is being added you can look at the public development github. There are some things on the private github that cannot be shared but I promise we are working on a lot of stuff. Im surprised with the amount of dev support for SCP considering that MRP USA and SWRP are being planned.

Im talking about a map over haul primarily, one with a new myriad of new locations be-fitting to its current aesthetic. As to your second comment, very cool, looking forward to it and I assume that will remedy the surface gameplay in time. And as to your last comment is SCPRP really considered low priority? It has a large and dedicated player-base while being by far the greatest server of its kind currently.

We reworked surface like 2 months ago. We are not reworking it again for a while, besides we are also working on the HCZ update and we have 2 mappers that as far as i know are very busy (this being Fr3ze and Cassius). I never said that SCP is low priority, I only said I was surprised that certain people are more focused on SCP than development for SWRP. I believe that Cope is mostly working on SWRP and has a large team helping him, however ventz and cloak are separately working on SCP and MRP. In my opinion SCP has the highest dev support (as annoying as the bug reports are).

I feel the primary subject of the discussion has been answered thank you,

Ventz is shifting back to SWRP now, he is leading development there. Fr3ze is working on HCZ update. I'm polishing up the recent MRP update then I'm going to both be doing a bit of SCP dev and MRP USA. We have only a few developers who can consistently push out content so we have to be splitting our attention constantly.

As mentioned, a surface update is probably not on the cards right now, maybe in the future.
