The Khat Family: A Legacy Forged in Fire and Conflict
Aresh Khat: The Visionary Politician (1897–1933)
Born in 1897 in Khorasan, Iran, Aresh Khat grew up in a time of political unrest and change. By 1916, he began his journey into politics, quickly gaining attention as a powerful orator and advocate for reform. In 1919, Aresh made a name for himself by addressing the global impact of World War I, highlighting its effects on Iran and proposing policies to secure Khorasan's future.
In 1920, Aresh fell in love with a devout Muslim woman from Khorasan. They married in 1922 and traveled to Makkah to celebrate their union with a pilgrimage, performing Hajj together at the Kaaba. The couple had their first child, Amir Khat, in 1923, a beacon of hope for their future.
In 1926, Aresh founded "The People's Party," a political movement dedicated to reform and social justice in Khorasan. The party gained traction and even extended its influence into Afghanistan by 1929. However, Aresh’s controversial speech in 1933, expressing hope that Adolf Hitler could stabilize Europe and indirectly benefit Iran, led to his assassination by the Iranian government. His death marked the beginning of a brutal crackdown on The People's Party, forcing many members to flee to neighboring countries such as Afghanistan, the Soviet Union, Iraq, and Turkey.

Amir Khat: The Tribal Unifier (1923–1948)
Following his father’s assassination, Amir Khat grew up amidst the chaos of political persecution. Fleeing to Afghanistan in 1938, Amir was adopted by a local tribe and immersed in their culture, learning Pashto and the intricacies of tribal politics. Inspired by his father’s legacy, Amir sought to unite Afghanistan’s tribes against the rising threat of communism.
In 1941, with the support of his tribe, Amir founded the “Tribal Union,” an organization aimed at fostering unity among tribes and resisting communist influence. The movement expanded into parts of Soviet-occupied Turkmenistan by 1942 but faced fierce resistance. Iranian and Soviet forces crushed his efforts in Khorasan and Turkmenistan, forcing the movement to retreat to Afghanistan.
In 1943, Amir married a woman from his tribe and had twin sons the following year. Despite his growing family, Amir struggled with the setbacks his movement faced. By 1948, having lost significant influence and fearing he had failed his tribe, Amir tragically took his own life at the age of 25. His widow raised their sons alone until her death in 1963.

Ahmed and Hameed Khat: Brothers Divided (1944–1988)
The twin sons of Amir Khat, Ahmed and Hameed, took divergent paths. In 1964, Ahmed moved to Canada, seeking freedom and opportunity, while Hameed settled in New York City. Hameed’s life in America was marred by danger, and in 1986, he joined OPM Industries, a shadowy organization with ties to the criminal underworld. A year later, Hameed was killed by the Italian mob after leaving the organization.
Ahmed, devastated by his brother’s death, abandoned his son, Dari Khat, and joined OPM Industries to seek vengeance. By 1988, OPM Industries collapsed, and Ahmed returned to Canada, settling in Pinewood with his family in 1989. Dari Khat, then 24, had a son of his own, Isle Khat, whose mother later abandoned them.

Isle Khat: The Supreme Commander (1989–Present)
Born into a fractured family in Pinewood, Canada, Isle Khat grew up with stories of his forebears’ struggles and resilience. In 2020, Isle reconnected with Nova Luna, a former associate of his great-uncle Hameed, who taught him the intricacies of power and organization. Isle expressed his dream of becoming the Mayor of Pinewood, envisioning a city transformed by industrialization and strength.
Pinewood, however, was under the grip of a tyrannical mayor who had ruled since 1997. In 2022, tragedy struck when Isle’s grandfather, Ahmed Khat, was executed during a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) raid on Pinewood. Enraged and determined, Isle and Nova Luna formed the Pinewood Armed Militia (PAM) on October 17, 2022, to liberate the city.
With just nine members, PAM staged a daring operation, expelling the CAF from Pinewood in a stunning victory. While three members died—including Nova Luna—Isle Khat survived and declared PAM the city’s protectors. On October 31, 2022, Isle led a coup against the tyrannical mayor, installing himself as the new leader of Pinewood.

The Wars of Pinewood (2022–2024)
Since its formation, PAM has faced relentless challenges. In just two years, the militia has fought in nearly 40 wars, losing only three. Each battle has cemented Isle Khat’s reputation as a fearless leader willing to do whatever it takes to defend Pinewood. However, these victories have come at a cost, leaving the city scarred by conflict.
Now, as 2024 draws to a close, Isle Khat stands at a crossroads. With Pinewood’s future uncertain and enemies both within and beyond its borders, his leadership will determine whether the city thrives or succumbs to its turmoil. The Khat family’s legacy—rooted in defiance and sacrifice—rests on Isle’s shoulders as he faces the trials ahead.

Isle Khat: Building a Network of Allies
As the leader of the Pinewood Armed Militia (PAM), Isle Khat cultivated alliances to secure Pinewood's sovereignty and defeat its enemies. Over the years, these partnerships transformed PAM into a well-coordinated force capable of tackling even the most entrenched adversaries.
The timeline of these alliances includes:
The timeline of these alliances includes:
- November 16, 2022: NFOTF - New Followers of the Fog
The NFOTF provided crucial intelligence, using their covert network to intercept enemy communications and provide actionable insights that shaped PAM’s strategies. (NFOTF was disbanded on January 22nd 2022 sadly) - January 3, 2023: C - Cause
This organization brought a calculated approach to warfare, specializing in targeted strikes against critical military installations. Their involvement helped PAM neutralize enemy strongholds and gain the upper hand in several conflicts. - August 27, 2023: PTC - Pinewood Terror Cell
The PTC’s guerrilla warfare tactics destabilized enemy operations, paving the way for PAM to take control of key territories. Their psychological warfare campaigns weakened enemy resolve and bolstered PAM’s dominance. (On September 14th 2022, the PTC disbanded) - November 9, 2024: PCSO - Pinewood County Sheriff’s Office
The alliance between PAM and the PCSO marked a turning point for Pinewood. Despite initial hostilities, the two groups joined forces to stabilize the region. The PCSO lent law enforcement capabilities and local intelligence to PAM’s militarized strategy, culminating in joint operations that significantly reduced external threats.
PCSO-PAMSOR Joint Operation: The Greener Purge (November 2024)
In one of their most decisive collaborations, the PCSO and PAM’s elite Special Operations Regiment (PAMSOR) carried out a joint mission to eradicate the Greener presence in Pinewood. The Greeners, an eco-terrorist faction notorious for their sabotage and violent attacks, had entrenched themselves in the region, threatening its stability.
The operation, codenamed Greenie Massacre, was executed with precision. Two suicide bombings targeted high-value Greener strongholds, resulting in the deaths of numerous enemy operatives. PAMSOR’s swift follow-up strikes eliminated any remaining resistance, leaving the Greeners crippled and their presence in Pinewood was crippled.
The mission was an overwhelming success, showcasing the combined strength of PAM’s military expertise and the PCSO’s local knowledge. The victory not only solidified Isle Khat’s authority but also reinforced PAM’s role as Pinewood’s ultimate protector against external threats.
