Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- I am applying for Security Captain because I feel like Gensec is where I belong. I've always been apart of GSD and it holds a special place in my heart. I enjoy helping others, as well as enhancing their experience within Gensec. During my time as Chief, I worked extremely hard to build up Gensec and improve relations between other departments. I would like to come back and assist as i did before. I know with my prior experience and my drive to see Gensec strive, I will be an excellent addition to the team.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- What qualifies me for Security Captain is my experience, leadership skills, communication skills, and dedication. I have held every single position available in Gensec; from it I have learned many things and was able to see multiple perspectives. I have almost a year of experience as Chief alone; even longer as a part of GSD. All of that to say, I know what makes a strong team and how to maintain it. During my time in GSD I learned how to properly communicate with other departments, as well as their heads; nourishing productive and beneficial relationships with them. I am also very good at communicating and building a bond with my fellow Gensec. I am very rational and approach situations calmy with reason. I am a natural leader and I know my strengths well. I am extremely dedicated to Gensec, while also knowing when not to take myself too serious. I believe balance is key when it comes to leadership roles, and I follow what I believe.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?: - Security Captain has many responsibilities, including but not limited to:
-Ensuring the smooth and successful operation of Dblock
-Conducting Sweeps
-Upholding the rules/guidelines/CoC/CoE
-Being a role model for new and returning GSD
-Training
-Conducting Tryouts
-Maintaining relations within my own department and others
-Scouting for future leaders
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Trap Jesus aka "Da boss" aka "Top Shotta" aka "The Perc Demon" started with humble beginnings. He was born in a trap house in Murda Mount, NC. Due to his area of upbringing, at a young age he dwelled in many illegal activities but where he really shined was trappin. He got so good at it, all the junkies started to call him "Trap Jesus". He quickly claimed the name as his own. After many years of being in the streets, Trap had gained few allies but many enemies, leaving him with a constant feeling of anxiety and alertness of his surroundings. Overtime this constant alertness led to Trap honing his combat skills; both hand to hand and firearms. Some say its impossible to catch him lacking. Those that have tried, got rolled up. But as the streets go, jail was imminent. And so, Trap got locked up. He was sent to death row for many felony charges along with attempted murder of an inmate and eventually was relocated to site-65 by [REDACTED] soon finding his new home at Dblock. After narrowly surviving his 30 days as a Dclass, Trap was freed and promoted to a cadet for showing great leadership qualities, resourcefulness and combat prowess. From there, Trap made his way through the ranks. All leading up to where he is today.
