For how long have you played on CG SCP: 4 years now
Age: 17
In what country are you located?: Canada
Time zone: EST
Character name(s): James Justice
Civilian name: Hank James

What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA

Do you have a mic?: Yes

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: E-11 LTCOM, CI Delta.

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? And why?:
Yes, I have, but all of them are very old, and as I have been playing for four years, I would catch the odd warning here and there.

Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?:
The main reason I am applying for Inspector is that I feel, after accumulating experience within ISD (and previously IA), I am ready to move on to a senior position where I can make a real difference. On top of this, I wish to be able to extend my powers of arrest and bring members of CL4 to justice, should the need arise.

What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I feel I am a suitable candidate for ISD Inspector because not only have I been around for a long time collecting experience, but I have also played consistently and really absorbed the knowledge required of an Ambassador/Inspector in ISD.

What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
An ideal Inspector within the Internal Security Department, to me, looks like somebody who is very active and kind to their subordinates. Another good quality one should possess if they are an Inspector is a good knowledge of the Legal Codex; this way, they can help newer/lower-ranking members with any questions they may have. On top of that, it is important for an Internal Security Inspector to be a “people person.” Communication with not only detainees but team members is critical to ensure the smooth operations of Internal Security.

How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
Arrest report Billy Bobson, rating good; incident report, rating excellent. A good rule to follow when doing ISD-related documents is to follow the same format and not over-explain, as the more moving parts, the more things can go wrong, especially when doing an arrest or incident report. However, the importance of a good quality document can be very crucial, especially when it comes to the Internal Security Department. The reason why is that whenever you are making a high-profile arrest, should it turn into a tribunal, you need spotless paperwork to back up what law/policy was broken. On the other hand, even if it is a low-profile arrest, it is good to do your absolute best when writing any kind of document, as it helps you practice for the day that you might need to make one flawless.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:

  • Training new members of ISD and giving them the entry test
  • Leading investigations when necessary
  • Being a CL4 employee within the COC in regards to ISD
  • Punishing members of ISD when necessary
  • Mentoring new Agents/Operatives
  • Responding to calls for an ISD “Higher Up/Supervisor”
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
The reason I feel I would be good in a leadership position for the department is my relentless work ethic and constant activity. Additionally, I feel that I am a very friendly/approachable person. This is very important when in a leadership position, as you need to be approachable or else the subordinates will be too afraid to ask you for help or guidance. I believe in the saying, “put kindness in and get kindness out.” Additionally, people would rather follow a name, not just a rank. If people know you as a kind person, communication with the subordinates will become easy, as when you make them feel respected, they will be more likely to be honest and forthcoming to you should a situation where that is required arise.

Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Before joining the enigmatic ranks of the SCP Foundation, James Justice served with distinction in the United States Secret Service. Known for their sharp mind and unparalleled ability to de-escalate tense situations, they became a trusted agent, often assigned to the most challenging negotiations and protective operations.

The Incident
Their life took a turn during a high-stakes operation in Washington, D.C., where they were tasked with protecting a foreign diplomat during a classified event. What initially seemed like a standard mission quickly spiraled into chaos when an anomalous phenomenon manifested during the event. Unbeknownst to the USSS, the diplomat had been targeted by a reality-bending SCP (later identified as a Type-Green).

As the room warped with impossible geometries and unearthly whispers, panic ensued among the attendees. James Justice, relying on their calm demeanor and persuasive skills, managed to keep the crowd from descending into utter chaos. They even established a brief "conversation" with the entity, buying time for an unknown response team to arrive and contain the anomaly.

First Contact
It wasn’t long before Agent Justice was approached by a man and a woman in nondescript suits, identifying themselves as agents of the SCP Foundation. Impressed by their ability to maintain composure and safeguard lives during the encounter, they offered James a choice: have their memory erased and return to their life, or join the Foundation to protect humanity from the unknown.

Joining the Foundation
Intrigued by the mysterious organization and driven by a newfound sense of duty, James Justice accepted. Their expertise in handling high-pressure situations and their talent for negotiation made them an ideal candidate for the Foundation’s Internal Security Department (ISD)—a division responsible for maintaining order, discipline, and operational integrity within Foundation facilities.

After completing rigorous training to adapt their skills to the Foundation’s unique environment, James Justice became a valued member of the ISD. Their role involves mediating disputes among personnel, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and investigating breaches of internal discipline, as well as upholding the FLC (Foundation Legal Codex).
