Previous occupation: Celebrity chef

Jeffery had the position of hosting a Live Show by the name of "Jefferys Culinary Fiestas". Jeffery's skill came to light through many different types of media but the most popular of which being his show. During his show he would show off his skills and many different tips and tricks to cooking. Through his fame and his show he managed to gain a presence that caught the Foundation's eye. However, the foundation didn't want a famous chef suddenly disappearing and therefore stopped looking into him. Jeffery's famous presence was slowly disappearing however and eventually the live show had stopped bringing the revenue that was seeked from the people who originally funded it. Because of this, the show had to be cancelled and that devastated Jeffery. Jeffery however didn't give up on cooking and instead seeked for a new job. With his previous occupation still being a celebrity chef, a lot of different restaurants were seeking him and he had decided to take a vacation. On a normal morning when Jeffery woke up, he continued with his normal cycle and eventually checked the mail. Going through the different types of mail from restaurants seeking to hire him, he had noticed a strange letter that looked completely different. Inside of the letter was an invitation from the Foundation. After a while of reading the letter over and over again he eventually decided to take a look. Taking his car to the meeting place, he noticed there was a lot of vacant buildings around and that the meeting place was the only actual populated building. Entering the building, Jeffery noticed a reception where a man in a suit was. Jeffery was asked to fill in papers and after he did, they took him into a dimly lit room announcing it was an interview. In the dimly lit room, Jeffery was told about the S.C.P Foundation and what its purpose is. Jeffery thinking this was some scam he was getting on edge and after being assured that it wasn't, he slightly calmed down. Jeffery was asked one singular question during the interview, do you want to continue? Jeffery paused thinking of what he was getting into before answering, "Yes.".

Recruitment: SCP Foundation Chef

Jeffery's recruitment into the SCP Foundation as a chef was rather a rush for Jeffery with a lot of information about the world he never knew about being revealed. Jeffery, now known as "Shack" within the SCP Foundation was introduced to a training program that exposed him to the anomalous and supernatural aspects of the world. As a Level 1 personnel, Shack was primarily assigned to Site 65, a facility known for its dangerous and popular SCPs. His duties included preparing meals for certain humanoid anomalies or just personnel, creating recipes, and even finding ways to utilize anomalous ingredients for the betterment of the Foundation. Shack's celebrity status, although practically nothing compared to his glory days, proved to be an asset. His charisma and talent made him a valuable asset in maintaining morale among Foundation personnel. Over time, Shack became familiar with various anomalies contained within Site 65, each with its own set of anomalous abilities. Despite the strangeness of his new career, Shack found a sense of purpose within the Foundation. The kitchen became his domain, where he experimented with flavors both mundane and anomalous.
