Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
I have always enjoyed the role-playing aspect of situations more than the combat. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in reviewing and writing documents. There is something powerful about the formatting of documents that fascinates me, but I won't go on too much about that. Another reason I’m interested in becoming an OSA is that the role-playing aspect is something I’ve never experienced before, and I’m always intrigued by trying new things. I believe this position would also provide a great opportunity to enhance my role-playing. Furthermore, as an OSA, I would be able to assist players who log on earlier in the day, reducing their wait times.

Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jonathan Helms originated from a quaint little island off the shore of mainland Europe. To him, what the foundation referred to as anomalies were nothing more than everyday occurrences. However, Jonathan was not so lucky. As the chief's only son, tradition stated that he should have inherited the powers of the chiefs before him to assist in their ascension. Unfortunately for Jonathan, this did not happen as it should have.

The prophecy declared that the eldest son of every chief would inherit their father's gifts on their 13th birthday, marking their ascension. But Jonathan was deemed unworthy by the entity responsible for transferring this power. Instead of receiving the gifts that were his birthright, he was marked with a strange symbol on his left shoulder blade. This symbol indicated his unworthiness and had only been handed out once before to the seventh chief's son, known as the "son of calamity." This unfortunate figure had nearly led the clan to extinction by using his powers to eliminate anyone who opposed him. By the time the anomaly intervened to revoke his powers, the tribe had dwindled from 400 people to just 90 in the span of a week. This tale was shared among all chiefs to prevent such mistakes from happening again, which left Jonathan confused. He had never committed any crimes, yet he had been forsaken by the anomaly. Soon, however, he would discover the reason behind it.

After being forsaken, Jonathan Helms became a lore keeper, which involved writing and reviewing various documents. This role provided him with a way to support his tribe, and contrary to what one might expect, he genuinely enjoyed the job. He even began to wonder if perhaps he was always meant to be a lore keeper, despite the circumstances leading him to it.

One evening, while returning from his duties as a lore keeper, he overheard a conversation between his father and the anomaly. Out of curiosity, he sneaked a peek and was alarmed by what he heard. They were discussing a plan to sacrifice millions as part of a ritual to help the chief maintain his power. In that moment, Jonathan realized who his father truly was, and he knew what he had to do.

As a lore keeper, Jonathan had access to much of the tribe's historical knowledge. Within that knowledge was a document detailing a fail-safe created in case another "son of calamity" emerged. Given this new threat, he sought out the document and read the instructions carefully. It stated that in an emergency where the world could be at risk, the lore keeper must activate the village's self-destruct mechanism to save billions of lives. With a heavy heart, Jonathan began the process, prepared everything as outlined, and then boarded a vessel equipped with a remote detonation device. After ensuring he was clear of the blast radius, he pressed the device and watched in horror as everyone he ever knew vanished in an instant. On that day, he felt deep shame for what he had done, but he knew it was necessary.

Jonathan then set sail until he reached Europe, where he beached his boat and shortly afterward was surrounded by men in strange clothing who ordered him to lie down with his arms at his sides. When he refused, one of the men attacked him. In that instant, Jonathan’s training kicked in, and he defended himself, but he ended up killing the man. Then the other men produced tasers, and the next thing he remembered was waking up in a prison cell, facing life in prison.
That night, he went to bed, and when he awoke, he found himself in a different prison wearing unfamiliar clothes marked with "Class D." This puzzled him, so he asked a fellow inmate what had happened. The inmate, a veteran, explained the situation, revealing why Jonathan had been brought there. Mortified, Jonathan's first thought was that he would surely perish in this new place. However, this would not be the case. Instead, he underwent many tests before being offered a position as a Gensec. Seizing the opportunity, he began to work his way up slowly, eventually hearing about an opportunity of a lifetime, which prompted him to apply.
