Name: Kate Brumlow
Dob: Unrecorded but believed to be sometime in April
Department: Research
Blood type: B-
Nationality: SCP-4036 (referred to as The Adytite Republic of Polynesia by SCP-4036's citizens)
Speciality: Dimensional Anomalies
Abnormalities: Minor abnormalities from baseline from being in long-term contact with Sarkics.
Biography:
Kate Brumlow is what could politely be called curious, as their tests often seem to involve tempting fate to see how SCPs act. This is not limited to just D-class, as Kate’s desire to throw themselves at other dimensions appears to be predominantly tempered by not having authorisation to do so on a whim. Kate appears to be able to follow rules and work within the foundation's structure and is, most importantly, seemingly at least as loyal to the foundation as they are to SCP-4036, which will have to do so long as the foundation stays on neutral terms with SCP-4036’s government. For now, additional security measures are in place. ISD may search Kate at request along with any bunk or lodging they may have, although a national flag of SCP-4036 is a permited item and they may worship in accordance with proto-sarkic customs of SCP-4036.
Kate’s birth date is unknown due to a lack of record keeping, but given what we have been able to find out from Kate and other villagers we could contact is that April of [REDACTED] is within acceptable degrees of accuracy. As one might guess, the village Kate grew up in was relatively underdeveloped, lacking the more modern developments found in SCP-4036’s cities. Despite this, Kate received training in first aid, field craft and limited scientific studies as well as a fascination with possible dimensions after hearing stories from their mentor. This mentor has not been locatable, and both Kate and the other villagers either cannot or won't expand on details.
Kate would move to a major city in SCP-4036 around the age of 19 and study a sarkic form of dimensional studies, which was less comprehensive than foundation understanding, but did lay a good groundwork for Kate to join the foundation through an outreach scheme at the age of 24. Kate is to be viewed with scepticism, while they do appear loyal, it is undeniable they hold their “nation” in high regard, and we still can't be sure they would put the foundation before it; however, for now, they are clear to continue working for the foundation.
