Discord name: Luke332

For how long have you played on CG SCP: I believe as of right now ~4 days.

Age: 16

In what country are you located?: America

Time zone: EST

Character name(s): Kufie 'Rogue' Kilack, Kufie 'Fiddlesticks' Suric, 'Rogue'[1121]

Civilian name: Jacob Kilack (I think) in lore it's Kuife's brother who joined MC&D

What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): I am applying for USA

Do you have a mic?:

- Yes, I do have a mic.

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:

- Nu7 CPL, GSD captain, ECA(x3), Ci-a/b (lost count), 096

What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:

- I am applying for the role of Ethics Committee Member. I feel this would be the next step for me as an ECA. As well as a final step for myself regarding a Cl5 position.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:

- The reason I am applying for Ethics Committee Member is because I feel I may be more effective to the site as an ECM. I have previous experience with leadership due to my role as a Gensec Captain. As a Gensec captain, it was my duty to ensure the safety of all personnel inside of D-block and the safety of D-class. During this time, I was leading sweeps with perfect accuracy (as good as a sweep can get). I was also talking to some of the other captains as well as vaguely in contact with the CoS to see what we could improve upon. I and some of my other captains would talk about what needed to be worked on as a whole regarding our leadership duties. Changed up a few things and finalized some tweaks here and there to ensure the department leadership would run as one, compared to us all going different ways. Regarding my time as an Ethics Committee Assistant, I have gained quite a few skills. Such as communication. Communication plays a very important role in an ECM's daily tasks. As they need to be able to effectively communicate with other department leaders as well as other members of not only site command but Omega-1 and each other. Lack of communication can cause fatal errors to occur. As an Ethics Committee Assistant, I have talked with multiple higher-ranking foundation personnel about some of the actions/events that took place. A good regiment to name is Nu7. I have worked kind of closely with Nu7 Reg com to keep them updated on what is truly happening on a deeper level of their MTF regiment. I have held a few meetings with Major+ to discuss some of what I've seen/heard. Regarding this, some of the roleplay I've helped lead have been some small events, regarding SCP's. Guiding personnel to the end goal of the events (most of these I've unfortunately had to leave early due to IRL stuff.)

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:

- Ensuring that all site personnel are doing well

- Authorizing Advanced Armory auth during codes

- Keeping the code of ethics up to date as well as enforcing it amongst the departments and site as a whole.

- Assigning new directors to the Internal Security Department

- Authing Kill On Site past Airlock when things get bad in D-block

- Approving 914 testing on biological items (within reason (being allowed in CoE))

- Attending Site command/Site Administration meetings as well as giving a voice in them.

- Give orders to Omega-1/Ethics Committee Assistants.

- issuing Tribunals when needed

- Work amongst the o5 Council

- Helping maintain relations with GOI (such as GOC)

- Calling ERT

- Reviewing Tests that may be against the CoE

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):

- Reviewing Ethics Committee Applications

- appointing a new Omega-1 commander when needed

- Taking part in meetings with Cl4/5

- Going through DOISD applications (when applicable)

- Handling Level 2 Demotion appeals

- Voting for the New Ethics Committee Member

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee character and what storylines they would be involved in: (Marcus approved his name being used)

It was a normal day at the Foundation for Ethics Assistant Kufie 'Rogue' Kilack. Not a single worry in his mind, or in his way. As he was on his way to do his daily patrol of the site, a researcher called him over. Not knowing what it was regarding, Kufie went over. The researcher was asking about doing a 106 sampling. Kufie, following the guidelines asked to see his documentation. Which the researcher failed to provide. But stated that he wanted it so he could use it for "Chemical Mixtures". Kufie informed him to get his documentation together. Kufie continued on his way to his favorite part of the site. D-block. A riot was on the edge of spilling out. Things got risky very quickly. A D-class managed to make it out of the airlock system. Taking Kufie as a hostage. Demanding that he be let go, to ensure the safety of the Ethics assistant, Foundation personnel promised him whatever he wanted. As long as he let the Ethics Assistant go. The D-Class was hesitant but quickly let the Assistant go. To which the D-class was then terminated. Kufie, a little worried, moved to the 2nd floor of D-block to keep an eye on what was truly going on behind the scenes. As memories of his Gensec days rushed through his mind, he collapsed. Luckily, a Sr. Doctor saw the event happen. When Kufie awoke, he was in the medical bed. With an IV drip. Kufie asked the doctor what happened to him. The doctor explained that he collapsed and to ensure he was hydrated, they put Kufie on an IV drip. The next morning, Kufie went for his daily patrol, Making his way through the research wing, Medbay, and finally D-block. As Kufie was about to insert his Clearance 4 card, the intercom roared to life.
*beep*
* Kufie Kilack please report to Ethics Committee Wing ASAP.*
*beep*

Kufie, in a daze quickly made his way to Ethics Wing. Worried he had done something wrong. He was then escorted inside the offices by a member of Omega-1. He ended up in front of Ethics Member Marcus.
Marcus gestured for him to have a seat.

Marcus: 'Kufie. Do you know why you have been called here?'

Kufie: 'No sir, I do not.'

Marcus: 'The committee has been keeping a close eye on you, Kufie.'

Kufie: 'Oh? Did I do something wrong, Sir?'

Marcus: 'Anything but. We as a committee have wanted to invite-'

Kufie: 'Oh thank god. I thought I had done something. Oh, sorry continue.'

Marcus: 'Anyways *ahem*, We as a committee have wanted to invite you to the open Ethics Committee Member Chair.'

Kufie: 'Sir, are you pulling my leg?'

Marcus: 'Kufie, This is an honest invite. We have been watching you. Closely. And have decided you are who we want our next member to be.'

Kufie: 'Sir, I am honored.'

Marcus: 'So. What do you say, Kufie? Will you take the next step?'

Kufie: 'Of course. I won't let you or the rest of the committee down. I promise.'

Marcus: 'Good. Welcome Ethics Member Kufie.'

I'll be frank, your application is lacking on several fronts. I'll give some pointers:

- Your reasoning on why you're applying for Ethics Committee Member is that you've been working alongside the EC for a long time and this being your third time as an ECA. Your reasoning should include why you believe Ethics Committee Member is the right path for you. A lot of people wish to be high positions just because it's the "end point" for the rank system. You should showcase your reasoning on why you're applying for EC to show how that separates you from other candidates.

- Leadership and Administrative abilities are important to being an Ethics Member, you're Foundation Command and thus are leading a lot of roleplay yourself. Thus, you should be able to showcase your experience with leading roleplay as well as a group of players (whether it be a department or otherwise.) Your time as GSD Captain leading other players is good, but you need to provide examples on what that is exemplary enough to almost equate to a department/regiment leader. You should also provide examples of roleplay you yourself spearheaded, ideally larger scale roleplay although minor interactions are always good to note.

- Your lore is a bit lacking; it seems very rushed. Foundation Command positions require the ability to weave interesting story lines for your character and others, your best way to showcase that is your lore writing ability. I believe it falls short in this application so I encourage you to improve on it.

Best of luck on your application process.

Kufie you are a great Ethics Assistant and you are well known around site, however the lack of leadership positions doesnt not give me the confidence in your ability to help lead and take control of the drama around site.

Furthermore, Ethics is a CL5 position with heavy RP responsibility, I feel your position as a GM helps in that regard, However, I would suggest working abit longer to become a proper GM or even SGM before applying for a CL5 position.

I want to iterate that I do not doubt your ability to handle the responsibilities of an Ethics Member. However, your lack of experience handling delicate situations such as promotions, demotions, strikes and general disagreements is why I am leaving a - Support
