What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This is a 2 part suggestion.
Part 1: To add a new license "Espionage" for jobs that utilise the disguise cards
‣ CI Deep cover
‣ IA
‣ DEA
‣ Ethics & O5
‣ Both sides of ISD's
‣ GOC Assessment team
(and others i've possibly missed or forgotten)
The decision of how people will be trained should be decided by the leads of all roles who utilise the cards before the license is added. this will also give CI a barrier for the type of "ci players" who only play deep cover without following policies & ci rules for being a deep cover just because the role is a VIP role.
Part 2: Making HWL / Sniper license MTF specific for training & Distribution
‣ E-11 > Heavy Weapons license
‣ NU-7 > Snipers license
‣ Gensec > Riot (obviously)
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Part 1
- Would Create a wall for the mingier players who have the ability to just clock onto jobs that require no other training
- Would allow Leads of each regiment / Department more authority over their staff
- Would allow for more guidelines and preferences to be set in place instead of "here you go here's the disguise card go have fun"
- Would increase RP for directors with more trainings and more of a reason to interact with them & others
Part 2
- Would enforce more interaction between the site as you cant just go to any regiment requesting all weapon licenses.
- Would give the MTF's a new reason to train people properly.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Part 1
- Would create a stopgap for those who just want to get everything with minimal RP (despite this being a yknow serious RP server)
- Development time
- May not be used by the higherups for convenience to them
part 2
- Would enforce less utilitarian & lazy licensing methods which the player base seems to favour
- Could take more time than usual due to inactivity of roles permitted to license
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
this should be accepted as both would increase RP potential for the servers and give more reasons for regiments to communicate with each other instead of trying to keep interactions minimal / hostile towards each other. this would also allow CI to control CI Deep covers a lot more due to one of their issues being people only playing ci to minge on deep cover and ofcourse the same with the foundation jobs and their disguise card jobs.
