After finally settling into the Commissioned Officer's office on Site-65, Lina sat slumped on her chair. She thought to herself: "How did I even get into this situation?", but before she would sit to reminisce on her past, she would pour some Turkish coffee she prepared into a quaint little glass, leaning back to sip on it while listening to music that calmed her nerves.

It's true, her assignment within the Foundation came in a very turbulent time in her life. Lina was born on the 8th of May 1982, during the height of the Lebanese Civil War. Born to a Lebanese Christian Mother and a Palestinian Muslim Father, her upbringing was mired in familial conflict that was often representative of the current geopolitical situation in the country at the time. She would often spend time hovering around her father's corner shop when she was younger, fostering a sense of community in the Mazra'a region of Beirut. Upon graduating high school, she would spend 3 years studying to complete an Economics Degree in the American University of Beirut.
Upon its completion, she felt a little wayward in what she wanted to do in her life, spending time in a dead-end job she didn't really find fulfilling. That was until 2006, when she joined the Lebanese Armed Forces. The ability to become part of a force that helped bring stability to the country gave her a sense of fulfilment that was unlike anything she has experienced up until this point. She would spend some time training oversees in France, eventually making contact with Foundation handlers, unbeknownst to her at the time.
Her life was thrown into turmoil during the 2020 Port Explosion in Beirut. The resulting explosion ended up killing several of her family members who lived next to the port. The rising tensions with the government and the sudden loss of her family left her disenfranchised with her home. In a moment of desperation, she would reach out to those handlers she met in France for the first time in her life.
