What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Raises the MAJ Rank or equivalent in MTF/CI/GOC Regiments to be able to demote/promote up to CPT or equivalent (BCOM)
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
No, not that I can see atleast.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Allows for Majors or equivalent to promote up to CPT or equivalent without calling staff
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Could be abused somehow if someone untrustworthy becomes a MAJ or equivalent but it wouldn't be that much of a problem because it's a very solvable issue.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Now obviously promoting to CPT or Equivalent is a regcom vote or decision but once that decision is made MAJ or equivalent shouldn't have to call staff or wait for their LTCOM/COM to get on to be able to promote that LT or equivalent up to the rank of CPT or equivalent, it's tedious and annoying. This is a simple quality of life change that can be very easily modified that I think would be great.
