What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestions seeks to make Warns and Bans on CN visible again.
I'm unsure when, but I have been told NL made Warns and Bans silent on CN servers, I wish to revert this to allow the playerbase to be aware of who has been warned/banned.
I wish for this as it allows the relevant parties to take action, such as a MTF commander removing a member for being banned, as currently the MTF would have no way to know unless staff told them the player was banned which is unlikely.
In addition, there was recently a NL ruling which was overturned which prohibited punishing for warns/bans. I believe making warns/bans silent has effectively recreated this ruling silently, as those who can punish have no idea. An E11 CSG could acquire multiple warns on the job and COs would never know.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Nope.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-Roleplay leads can take action against those that are warn/banned without being reliant on a staff member to inform them
-Allows those wronged by a rulebreak to see that punishment has been dealt
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
-Players may argue in OOC regarding warns/bans
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
This should be accepted to allow Roleplay leads to effectively manage those under them without being reliant on staff to inform them if a member has been warn/banned.
