Network Leadership required Making so that Site Command Roles will have terms (05/EC)

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This Suggetion makes it so that Site Command holders and future holders will have to serve a term.
The term will last 2 weeks for ECM/O5-2+ While the term for "Leaders" of O5/EC will last 1 mouth (ECC/O5-1). Term starts when they get the role/get promoted in game. After the term is over, they are striped of their role and the role opens for future holders to apply for.
Of course rules must be placed so here my suggetion for the rules:
1. The term for ECM/05-2+ lasts for 2 weeks while the term for ECC/05-1 lasts 1 mouth/4 weeks
2. The term starts when you get promoted to the role
3. After the term is over, you are striped of your role
4. You will get the cooldown when your term is over. The cooldown will be gone when someone applies for the role you been to and serves their term
5. During the cooldown. You can't apply unless its for other Site Command role (O5-2 > ECM, ECC > O5-1)
6. The cooldown can be lifted if approved by SSL+

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- The roles won't be "forever until resigned"
- The change that will be happy for mostly all players in this community
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- A risky change, if this gets added, the current holders will be mad and may cause drama
-As there will be a "timer until its over", less people will apply for Site Command

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It should be accepted. This change will cause drama yes but least the change that will benfit both sides.
If this suggetion gets accepted and put in power after the accept or later, make it so that current holders for Site Command will be informed that their term starts now and they have to serve.

P.S: I wanted to make my suggetion prefix NL requried but didnt see any there, so if any staff sees this, please put the prefix "Network Leadership Required". Thank you.

What a dumb suggestion, there is already a problem with people wanting to apply for Site Command - what makes you think that there will be an experienced and willing enough individual every two or four weeks?

Site Command roles are not as appealing to the playerbase as you think they are.

Well, i had plans to make so that Site Admin and Site Command roles to need term. For site admin it was only SIte Driector, which would be 4 weeks/ 1 mouth. (not Site advisors because they have progresson into site manager without applying)

SC roles arent easy to get, so putting terms on them would just make them unplayed. While im all for limiting how many SC there could be at a given time, cycling through new ones every couple weeks isn't it.

Which doesn't fix the issue that Site Command is not a very wanted position on the server, there would be a complete lack of people applying for it

I don’t see any point in this change and it’s just going to cut roleplay storylines short and I honestly don’t see a single benefit here. The most it’s going to do is allow more people to apply for a full time job for a month, which barely anybody has the motivation to do already, not including the part where people need to make new applications every single time which can take weeks.

You’re lucky to fill half of the slots in Site Command on UK right now. ‘Terms’ just seems like a way of rotating people with half a brain out for some slop bandit. It shouldn’t be impossible to get SC positions, but it shouldn’t be so unreasonably easy.

Some community has the same system for RP roles applictons on their servers and people just apply for them like nothing, they do format and such however those such roles there don't have progress, they must apply by one by one when their term is over, and yes they still check the lore but they do it only in interview via asking questions about such lore, they just put expernices for higher RP roles applictions and why they applying for such role. Oh i forgert that all RP roles have terms from that community.
While i understand for this community is very huge and unwanted thing, in the other community it was day one and no one tried to change it, hell even asked one of members of this such community why their RP roles need terms and they just told me: "True Democracy"

6 month term for just -1 and ECC, each department gets 1 vote to keep them or remove them. Already a better suggestion tbh.

Edit: Not throwing shade, but 1 month is way to short.

However, separately to this, I would support a more generally applied term limit to all slot limited roles (COs, SA, SC, Directors, etc.) that's just much longer than this. Like, maybe somewhere between 6 months to a year.
