Hi all, so after a 6 month long hiatus we are happy to state that the MRP Monthly News has returned! This will cover all rule clarifications, bug fixes, features, staff promotions (for smod+) and more on this one big document!
As always: we'll post changes (bar weapon stat changes) as they happen on the Military Roleplay Discord in #change-logs.

📝 New Features 📝
  • Added mapper role
  • Readded Goat Job
    • Well liked job by the community, features have also been implemented to prevent goats from using / equipping wars to reduce rulebreaking and Fail RP on the job.
  • Added new war type 'Lane Wars'
    • This war type was added to establish something different from the usual conquest and attrition war types. 'A lane of the map' is designated as a target (clearly highlighted in yellow) and will be the only capturable territory of the war. Lane Wars have a 100% chance of occurring with <35 players and 20% at 35-70 and 0 at 70+. Capturing them provides 3x normal war score.
⚖️ Balance & QOL Changes ⚖️
  • NPC Doctor Cooldown reduced to 10 seconds
    • Waiting a long duration of time made the NPC Doctor even less useful, so this makes him easier to go to and more useful in base.
  • Forcing a bleed out will take the same amount of time for every war state
  • Buffed First Aid Kit time to heal
  • If you are above 95 health your limb/head/torso injuries will heal over time
  • Reduced the Hacking Device noise and noise radius
    • Due to the reduction of war funds that can be stolen and increased cooldowns the noise was reduced to help encourage stealth in hacking and create better balance.
  • Removed SVU sniper marker when you kill someone
    • This brings the SVU in line and in balance to the SCAR-H which also does not have a sniper marker.
  • Moderator can now use !removevehicle
    • This was done so that moderators can now respond to remove and restock sits and reduce the time taken to answer them.
  • Permanent stinger should be permanently equip-able instead of a one time use
  • Added combat deployment spawns for UAN (only during war-time)
    • Now means both sides can easily get out into combat without having to leave bunks then base.
  • While in an armoured vehicle you cannot begin to bleed (bleeding before entering an armoured vehicle still gives bleeding damage)
  • Trainees/Drill Instructors & AFK players should be excluded from the team player count in more places
    • These groups were mainly excluded from just conflict status numbers, but now include server war fund hack limits & more.
  • Reduced the restock time of the Kiowa from 2 hours and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes as well as reducing rockets from 38 > 22
  • Mi-24a Stinger is no longer lock on only

🛠️ Bugfixes & Optimizations 🛠️

  • Fixed the Eurocopter's handling
  • Fixed grainy texture for CQ300 Lynx
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing bleeding damage and ambulance/limb healing over time
  • Attempt to fix the handling of the Comanche, Gunship and KA-52
  • Legs now only break if you take more than 20 fall damage
  • Fixed flash wars
  • Fixed a global chat message error when using /me and looking at a civilian, causing the message to be sent in global chat
  • Fixed an exploit that could be used to crash other player's games
  • Fixed a lag issue/exploit caused by the Electronic Tampering Device
  • Fixed Attention!! Achievement not being awarded correctly (since beginning of NWO campaign)
  • Fixed the damage shielding effect of riot shields being permanent until death after being tazed
  • Fixed a bug allowing you to cook using ingredients with a higher level than your character's cooking level
  • Fixed flash wars
    • The chance of a flash war happening was also reduced from 35% per peacetime to 14% per peacetime.
  • Fixed a bug allowing you to duplicate vcraft ingredients
  • Attempt to fix MBT damage

📚Rules Changes📚

  • Rule change - 2.02 - Execution Authority - NWO may execute any UAN/Civilian prisoners in their own base with High Command authorization. If no High Command are available, then an AOR CPT+ may authorize the execution. The UAN may only execute NWO in public in their own base with High Command authorization, UAN Courts or by an AC standing order. Both factions High Command, may authorize an execution of a friendly hostage to prevent leaking of military information. This can occur only while attempting to rescue the hostage or as a spy.
    • Enables UAN to execute NWO in public but civilians in private, turning them into a more morally grey faction as people wanted them to be.
  • Clarification - HC and Helicopters: Both airforce regiments have priority over piloting/copiloting. HC can get permission from the highest online of their airforce regiment to take out a heli on their own. (4Star+ General may disregard that)
    • High Command flying helicopters for their own team was causing a lot of issues, so this clarification was brought in to say when they can and cannot.
