What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Remove the floating line which the TE-5 Hacking swep has, either from the SWEP in general or just from 079.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
More realistic. You wouldn't see a floating line coming out of a keypad, especially when it comes from the Keypad / Console and just floats.
079 Doesn't get spotted as easily, and has more time to spend their breach before a CL4 checks their CC.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Can't think of many. The only Negatives may be that programming wise the Devs would either have to create a seperate SWEP for 079 which doesn't have the line, or they'd just have to remove it from the TE-5 itself.
079 Breaches would be harder to detect, as a CL4 would actually have to check the CC each time rather than someone calling it out once they see the magical floating line coming out from a hackable console.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Currently as it stands 079 is a great support SCP which is capable of disabling pretty much any system once breached. This is great, though one thing that bugs me, and most likely others is how easy they are to spot if they try to hack something whilst pretty much anyone is nearby. 079 can easily be detected as they hack, as all it takes is one glance at a Keypad / CC Box and if there's a line floating? Then you already know it's 079. So I believe that the line is absolutely unnecessary, and it shouldn't be there at all. This will of course make 079 breaches harder to detect, and will force MTF to check 079's chamber more often.
Example of how it looks when 079 is hacking (Selected the keypad in his CC just for the example)
