Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I'm applying for security captain as I feel ready for the next step within GSD. I want to be able to help out more when it comes to D-block and it's endless amount of minge cadets/guards, and rarely officers.
I want to start hosting trainings for HWL and RCL as they don't happen very often. I want to able to help relations with SOP and E-11 when it comes to TRT and situations involving TRT. I want to make sure that the split of who helps with c1 and breaches and who stays at d-block to stay consistent to ensure D-block isn't overran during a breach or c1.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
What makes me suitable for captain is my ability to handle minges without having a brain aneurism.
I always strive to hear both sides of a situation before making a decision.
I'm good with handling conflicts between two people and attempted to come to a reasonable solution.
I have common sense.
My willingness to continue and learn to be a better Gensec member.
Willingness to ensure that newer members of gensec have a good experience and aren't confused on what they are doing.
I'm pretty active most days and I'm always willing to host tryouts more often then they are now.
I want to help guide the good officers to becoming a good sergeant when their time comes to tryout for it.
Most importantly insure that our handbook is followed by all gensec members consistently.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
-Being a captain comes with plenty of responsibilities, such as hosting tryouts for HWL's and RCL's.
-Ensuring Sergeants are correctly trained and that they understand the Sergeants handbook and are ready for what their job entails.
-Connecting with ISD when gensec members are being unruly and making sure they are handled properly.
-Ensuring all members of gensec understand the handbook and what it means.
-Answering any questions that will be had by gensec and giving them the correct answer based on the handbook and site policies.
-Host trainings to improve the abilities of Gensec.
-Maintaining communication with ISD and other groups within the site depending on the situation.
-Help maintain the order within D-Block when a breach happens or a code 1 happens to ensure it stays properly staffed and protected.
-Ensure researchers are properly lined up and the transfer of dclass to them is smoothly done by Gensec. Ensure that RSU and RCU are doing their jobs properly.
-Plan patrols throughout LCZ and when TRT are available HCZ. Work with isd to handle d-class infobreaches.
