Naming Convention

Just wanting clarification on what names we can choose for characters, as ive been using "Biggius Krillmire" and "Biggier Krillmire" as the names for two of mine for months, and have just now been forced to change them. I changed Biggius to Biggio (which IS a real italian name) without a hassle, but was then warned for having the name Biggio. None of my names, including my last name which IS made up, have ever been mentioned as breaking naming convention or being unrealistic up to this point, so im just a little confused on the whole matter.

The rules page states the following:

1.12(a) Character Name (Naming Conventions) - Names used when creating a character must be realistic, it must not contain any special characters, unnecessary letters, numbers, or resembling a famous celebrity or character. Avoid inappropriate names or terms.

If someone asked you to change it, they probably thought it violated the above in some way.

A good way to check is making a ticket asking if the name would violate naming conventions before changing it, then you atleast will likely not be warned if a staff member disagrees with that later on.

The community's insight is always valued, but this would be better asked towards staff. For future reference, if you are confused about a rule then please make a support ticket in the discord or if you disagree with the warning/name change, make a complaint further down in the forums.
