Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I am applying for Security Captain due to the fact it is my goal to make a clear and positive impact on the GSD. I have three primary aims in mind.

Firstly, Cadets typically join GSD without much knowledge on what to do, or how to act. While the handbook is available, as well as the many wall postings, some things are still confusing to them. I intend to improve the learning for GSD, through stationing Sergeants at all POI's so Cadets have the opportunity to ask questions and reach out to their fellow GSD members for advice and support.

Secondly, which ties in part with the prior point is I wish to make GENSEC a welcoming place for people, whether they are new or have been around for a while. Joining a new sector of the SCP server can be daunting, or even working alongside constant fresh faces, my plan is to create an open environment for people to express any concerns or questions to myself or other appointed points of contact, as well as building interpersonal relationships with GSD members. I would also ensure all GSD were properly aware and educated as to how they can report issues, and who is the correct person to report any issues to or report any misconduct.

Finally, I believe D-Block could be ran far more smoothly, I hope to achieve this through utilising combat medics on the POIs within D-Block, ensuring the safety and medical assistance any post group may require, as well as combative assistance. As well, the use of HH during a code-2 would assist in ensuring all operations can run with maximum efficiency, and hopefully GENSEC can learn from this, to ensure less future casualties and improvement of operations. I believe using clearance levels more efficiently when it comes to the escorting will benefit all members involved in testing, by having one of each clearance level available for testing when applicable, this gives opportunity for cadets to take part in escorts and gain valuable experience, as well as providing the researchers with far more efficient wait times.

I believe it is in the best interest of the SCP-Foundation and GSD personnel to create a better environment which is more interesting, enjoyable and better-equipped department for any threats faced.

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
I believe I am more suitable due to my activeness and presence within the GSD/MTF communities. I have received positive feedback when taking point to organise GENSEC's efforts within D-Block. In the last few days, I have made an active effort to take point, giving orders and properly stationing members on each PIO within D-Block, once with a Captain present and allowing me to do so, and other times when there has been no Captain. With this, I noticed a considerable difference in GENSECs organisation and efficiency. During this, I was communicative and clear with fellow GENSEC personel why I was doing this, and opened up frequently for any suggestions or complaints to which many people felt comfortable giving me these. For example, I was asked if we could station one or two lower-level members in D-Block collection area so they can gain experience in escorting as well I found this helpful to new researchers who needed LCZ/Level 1 clearance escorts. I noticed that once this was arranged over the next few hours that researchers were able to conduct tests fluidly, and different members of GENSEC were able to reach their intended levelling goals.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
1. They are to host regular try-outs for RRT and HWL
2 They are meant to help IA enforce the legal codex within D-Block
3 They are to conduct sweeps during a code 2 situation
4 They job ban GSDs who commit acts which make GENSEC look bad
5 They are to help out new recruits with any problems

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
The Security Captain of the SCP Foundation, Neptune, had always been a man of duty and honour. He was known for his calm and collected demeanour, which made him an excellent leader for his team. Neptune had been with the Foundation for over a decade, and during his time, he had encountered some of the most dangerous SCPs.

One such SCP was SCP-076, also known as the "Able." Able was a humanoid entity with incredible strength, speed, and regenerative abilities, making him one of the most dangerous SCPs in containment. Neptune had heard stories of the destruction caused by Able, and he knew that he had to be extra cautious when dealing with him.

On one occasion, Neptune was tasked with overseeing the transfer of Able from one containment facility to another. It was a routine procedure, but Neptune knew that even the slightest mistake could have disastrous consequences. As soon as the transfer began, Neptune could feel the tension rising. The SCP Foundation personnel had to remain alert at all times, and Neptune was no exception.

Despite all the precautions taken, something unexpected happened. Able broke out of containment and began attacking the security personnel. Neptune quickly ordered his team to evacuate and proceeded to confront the SCP on his own. It was a risky move, but Neptune knew that he had to do something to stop Able from causing any more damage.

Neptune used his training and experience to distract Able and lure him into a trap. With the help of his team, Neptune managed to subdue Able and return him to containment. Although the situation was under control, Neptune couldn't shake off the feeling of dread. He knew that SCPs like Able were unpredictable, and he couldn't afford to let his guard down.

From that day on, Neptune made it his mission to study Able and other dangerous SCPs, so he could be better prepared to face them in the future. His interactions with Able had taught him the importance of being vigilant, and he never let his guard down again. Neptune continued to serve the SCP Foundation with honor and dedication, always ready to face any challenge that came his way.
