What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is the suggestioning of a suggestion to suggest the feature of adding a "tips" popup during loading screens like most games do. This would allow people to learn more uncommon infomation that you wouldnt otherwise be able to learn on your own and would require people to tell you.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
probably not i dont really recall seeing any ui related suggestions recently
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ Would allow useful information to be spread ultimately allowing new and old players to learn stuff about the server.
+ Could allow for adaptability and future content to have new tips / vague instructions to be added maybe even during collection events if they are to continue.
+ would allow players to request specified information to be displayed (if this coding is done to the point where tips can easily be implemented by trust worthy people (probably just NL at this point TBH))
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Tips could become out of date quick and lack of updating could mislead players.
- if easy implementation this could be abused during sperg outs and create unpleasant or undesirable messages that would then require amending pretty much immediately.
- Could require specialized coding which CN do not currently obtain outside of maybe metro or ventz as they are general all around devs.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
i feel this suggestion should be accepted as currently there are no tooltips when waiting on the loading screens nor is some nieche infomation that obvious to learn. For example not everyone seems to natrually find out that you can edit radio volume in the C menu without having to go upto radio's and doing it manually.
i feel outside of the coding concern and maybe future implementations this suggestion can only benefit the server as QOL info can be easily learned through this maybe even information on departments / Regiments that everyone should be aware of but that will be up to the people implement this or/and the people tasked with maintaining it down the line.
