Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I'm applying for Medical Consultant because I want to provide enjoyable RP experiences to medical.
I want to teach newcomers to medical how to best do their jobs, and make sure medical thrives with RP.
I want to provide long term and memorable RP experiences to the server, leaving a positive impact on RP and creating more.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I've both been a consultant before, and have been a part of medical for over 3 years now. I also have plenty of experience in RP focused leadership positions, such as ECA and UNGOC LT. I can be very active, having nothing but free time to put into the server. I have a strong of how the server RPs, and know how to bring RP to people that is enjoyable.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
Curing Influenza + How to make it's medicine
When a patient walks into medbay complaining of uncontrollable sneezing, there is a good chance they have the flu. The first thing you want to do is isolate them from anyone nearby, as the flu spreads quickly. Take the patient to the Infection Testing Scanner, in the same room as the X-Ray table and the EST machine. Instruct them to lay down on the table and start the machine. This machine will take a couple of seconds to scan the patient and determine the ailment. Once you confirm they have the flu, take them back into the chem room. At this point, you can either give them a dose (100ml) of Oseltamivir Phosphate from the chemical freezers, or you can make the medicine yourself. Although much quicker to grab from the chemical freezer, it is always good to have some Oseltamivir Phosphate handy.

To make Oseltamivir Phosphate, you need Anhydride, which you can buy from the chemist NPC, and Ibuprofen, which you'll need to make. To make ibuprofen, you need Propionic Acid, which you buy from the Chemist NPC, and Salicylic Acid, which you can make by mixing Duloxetine and Keto Acid in a beaker, or buying straight from the chemist. Once you have your Propionic Acid and Salicylic Acid, you need to put the two chemicals into a large beaker and place the beaker into a vacuum chamber. Once you have your Ibuprofen, you mix it with Anhydride in a beaker, and it'll make Oseltamivir Phosphate.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
Consultants are the main source of information for both new members of medical, and those outside of the department. They are tasked with training new trainees, showing them the ropes and teaching them to become doctors, ensuring that medical personnel are following procedures and aren't being unethical. Consultants are also the main force behind most projects tasked to medbay.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Niko Klaus Vilhelm was hired by the Foundation after a field agent for the foundation observed his high level of knowledge in the medical field. Niko started out doing basic medical procedures for the Foundation on Site-23, making sure that everyone was healthy and all injuries were fixed. Niko was fascinated by the anomalous injuries that people normally went to medbay for, as it gave him a new challenge to learn and overcome. Niko observed other doctors who had been there longer than him perform medical treatment on these anomalous injured patients, taking notes on every little detail. This level of observation, and learning for Niko highly shot his knowledge up about patients with anomalous injuries.

Niko slowly climbed up the ranks of the medical department, eventually landing himself a spot as a combat medic. He was primarily placed on the front lines of SCP breaches, alongside Epsilon-11, making sure that any injuries that they suffer during fights are quickly fixed, so the SCP's don't get an upper hand on the foundations forces. Niko managed to survive multiple breaches, and helped many more survive and quell breaches. Fighting these breaches taught Niko more about the SCP's, and it made his fascination with them grow even more.

Around 7 years after of fighting for the foundation, Niko retired from the combat aspect of the medical department, going back to being a regular doctor for the Foundation. His comrades had high amounts of respect for Niko, which caught the attention of the higher ups. One day while working, Niko was requested to go to the Site Directors office as soon as he was able to. Niko, confused as to why he was being called there, shortly arrived after the call was made. Inside of the office was the Site Director, and a Medical Director of another site, Site-██. The Medical Director introduced himself, and explained that his site was in need of experienced and skilled Foundation medics. After a long conversation, lasting late into the night, the Medical Director managed to talk Niko into transferring to Site-██.
