PAC Request PAN-Θ researcher

PAC Requested (Which job): Researcher

The entity originated during a research act involving an anartist-origin pencil and the use of a researcher’s blood as ink. This event was not ritualistic nor intended to create life, and the involved researcher holds no authority over PAN-Θ, existing only as an initial imprint of intent. PAN-Θ now acts independently and autonomously.

Functionally, PAN-Θ supports research and discovery by identifying overlooked variables, highlighting inconsistencies, and preventing minor experimental errors. However, it does not direct research, issue orders, or resolve major anomalies, leaving all final decisions and responsibility to human personnel. Its behavior is calm, serious, and cooperative, and it does not engage in deception, provocation, or personal interaction beyond what is necessary.

PAN-Θ does not pose a threat to the SCP Foundation. It does not self-replicate, escalate situations, or pursue independent goals, and it can be removed from RP scenes if overly exposed or placed outside its intended role. Overall, PAN-Θ exists to support understanding without replacing human researchers, ensuring that discovery remains a human responsibility.

  1. It should be subject to containment. Its containment area is Site-65, similair to SCP-999

  2. They are contained but allowed to freely roam

  3. the reason why he work with fondation it's just a simple curiosity and he haven't ability to break the rules

-Support, needs improvement.
  • Head is the default pac model sphere.
  • If you're wanting to imply that this entity is meant to be some sort of researcher-fused drawing come to life, I'd suggest altering much more than just the head. Take it fully in a direction, whether that means 'cel shading' your entire model and giving it a proper re-texture to where its entirely presented in black and white, or potentially going a different route and presenting it as an entirely 2D/drawn being.
  • Gonna assume that a bit of your lore is lost in translation here as the screenshots are in french, but what the GM said as well, a bit of expansion on why they'd want to be a researcher in the first place would do good. (Do they wish to serve as some sort of 'mimicry' of what they were drawn with? etc.)
  • And a much more minor nitpick, but if they're going to have the anomalous pencil at their hip as well, the researcher might be better designated as PAN-Θ-1, similarly to SCP-963. (Dr. Bright's Amulet)

That better ?

SCP-PAN-Θ

Containment protocol :
SCP-PAN-Θ is housed in a standard humanoid containment unit located at Area-TSADE. No specific structural or environmental modifications are required.

No physical, visual, or conceptual restraints are applied to SCP-PAN-Θ. The entity is permitted to move freely within the site. This decision is based on the complete absence of escape attempts, concealment behaviours, or violations of established protocols.

SCP-PAN-Θ has demonstrated a functional understanding of containment procedures and complies with them voluntarily. Any attempt to impose additional restrictions has been deemed unnecessary and conceptually inappropriate by the BSIA/AIMB (Anomalous Individuals Monitoring Bureau).

Description :

SCP-PAN-Θ is a three-dimensional humanoid anartist entity, approximately proportioned to an adult human, whose morphology resembles a schematic “stick-figure” form. However, SCP-PAN-Θ possesses no continuously observable shape.

During any attempt at direct observation, the entity appears visually split along the observer’s axis of movement, producing a partial two-dimensional duplication of its constituent segments. This phenomenon is comparable to a spatial rendering artefact, with each part of SCP-PAN-Θ-1 perceived as two flat surfaces oriented toward the observer, with no perceptible intermediate volume.

This effect is not related to lighting conditions, movement speed, or the visual capabilities of the observing subject. Advanced imaging devices (LIDAR, infrared, volumetric scanners) yield contradictory results but converge on one point: SCP-PAN-Θ-1 occupies a real volume, although this volume cannot be visually reconstructed.

Addendum PAN-Θ-1 — Research Note

“SCP-PAN-Θ-1 does not call reality into question.
It confirms it.
Where other anomalies seek the breach, this one seeks the framework.”
— Dr Oleg.V Aksakov

Addendum PAN-Θ-2 — Integration into Research

SCP-PAN-Θ-1 is currently involved in projects concerning:

The stabilisation of unstable anart anomalies,
The study of cooperative, non-coercible entities,
The conceptual modelling of self-restricting anomalies.

At the explicit request of SCP-PAN-Θ-1, all of its contributions are recorded in the form of annexed reports signed with its identifier.

Addendum PAN-Θ-3 — Anartist Origin (Subject Reclassification)

The events that led to the manifestation of SCP-PAN-Θ are now regarded not as a creation ex nihilo, but as a process of ontological reclassification involving a member of Foundation personnel.

On ██/██/20██, Dr.Gideon was participating in a research programme focused on low-intensity anomalous graphic media, including a standard graphite pencil, which at the time was referenced as non-anomalous material. No ritual or active experimental protocol was underway.

During an extended work session, Dr.Gideon sustained a superficial injury to the right hand. The bleeding, deemed minor, did not interrupt the activity. The researcher continued to use the pencil to produce a series of technical sketches depicting a schematic humanoid figure, as part of an exercise intended to define the minimal parameters of a conceptually containable entity.

Recovered documents indicate that the graphite from the pencil gradually intermixed with the researcher’s blood, without any conscious alteration of methodology on their part.

No immediate anomaly was detected.

Transition Phase

Approximately ██ minutes after the end of the session, Dr.Gideon reported persistent difficulty perceiving the continuity of their own body in space, describing a sensation of “contour duplication” while moving.

Visual recordings show a progressive alteration in the subject’s perceptual coherence: certain portions of their silhouette appeared divided along the observers’ axis of movement, without any loss of mass or detectable physiological modification.

At ██:██, the subject ceased responding to their personal identifier and spontaneously requested to be “recorded under a functional designation”.

At that precise moment, medical staff confirmed that Dr.Gideon no longer exhibited a complete human biological signature, although all cognitive and behavioural functions remained intact.

Reclassification

The Classification Committee ruled that Dr.Gideon should no longer be considered an individual affected by an anomaly, but rather the anomaly itself.

The designation SCP-PAN-Θ-1 was assigned without objection from the subject.

During the interview following reclassification, SCP-PAN-Θ-1 provided the following statement:

“I was not transformed.
I was redrawn until I became compliant.”

Disposition of the Pencil

Due to no longer possessing anomalous properties, it is no longer classified under the SCP designation.

It should be noted that SCP-PAN-Θ-1 explicitly requested the object’s restitution.

Note

“SCP-PAN-Θ-1 is a rare case in which the Foundation did not lose a researcher,
but instead gained another—one in a form more stable than anticipated.”

Final Observation

SCP-PAN-Θ-1 continues to demonstrate perfect adherence to containment protocols and actively participates in research programmes.

When questioned about its former identity, the entity replied:

“That name belonged to someone who sometimes crossed the lines.
I don’t do that anymore.”

I remake the lore of the SCP-PAN-Θ enjoy and say me
