Discord name: cinnabun2_
For how long have you played on CG SCP: A little under 1 year
Age: 20
In what country are you located?: Denmark
Time zone: GMT+1
Character name: Patrich "Gestalt" Brandt
Civilian name: Jay Parker
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes
What are your total levels?: 89
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: Nu-7 Private, DEA Senior Agent, DEA Special Agent, Dep. Manager of DEA
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: A single warning back in 2024 for Mixing
How long have you been a Senior Agent for?: Bit of a tricky question. Without lying, 3 weeks... But I had to leave CN for well over 9 months due to irl conscription
Why are you applying for Special Agent?: To be honest, DEA was my pride and joy back in the day. I loved it, played it every single day and made lots of friends, such as Dennid, Welper, Elid, Seth "Archangel" and so many more. I've rejoined CN 2 weeks ago and I was sad to see DEA in... a sorry state, no offense of course. Quite frankly, most of my interactions with DEA on the server these past two week has been lackluster and unprofessional, and I hope, if my application is (unlikely) accepted that I can turn that around.
I hope I can return to induct operatives and agents alike, host trainings and cross trainings, improve relations with GOIs and so much more.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?: My experience, although rusty, within the DEA was vast back in the day. From Senior agent, to Special agent and all the way to Dep. Manager, I helped that current era of DEA into glory, good RP and many fun moments. I was the head of DEA's R&D team, making documents on training courses, DEA promotional documents, employment stuff and much more
How many documents have you written? Back in my time, I used to write documentation on everything from operations, civilian arrests, infiltrations, MC&D reports and access permissions, report logs and complaints. I took my job seriously, to make sure DEA ran smoothly and as intended, but also as a role model for the people who I trained, commanded and inducted
What makes a document good?: In my opinion, if a document gets the point across, it's a good document. A document doesn't necessarily have to be 17 pages long, if you can write the exact same thing in 3. Simplicity shrouded in detail is the key to a good and well documented report. A document should always be written in a proper tone, with a minimal use of profanity and slang. It should be readable to everyone (given their clearance level of course) and understandable by everyone, so proper English would also be advised, with less of a focus on dialect and slang.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?: Special agents are CL4 members and are thus given a lot more responsibility than an agent, or Sr. Agent.
Just some of their responsibilities can be to authorize, or deauthorize GOC's entry upon site. This can both be for testing purposes (given they have the proper signed documentation) and for help with breaches. We also authorize the entry of Marshall, Carter & Dark Ltd, assign their escorts and manage the junior staff of our department. We answer to the Department Managers, and do whatever orders they deliver us, as well as help out Nu-7 with their duties on surface. A full list of Special Agent duties would probably be too long to fill on this page in detail
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Patrich "Gestalt" Brandt served the Foundation, and the O5 council as the Department Manager of DEA for over 4 months before being sent to Site-55 Boston, Massachusetts, USA, being the centre of research into Groups of Interests. His knowledge as Department Manager of DEA, who specifically worked with GOIs made him a key figure in the act of locating and understanding of GOI bases and people within those groups. Whether it was The Serpent's Hand, Chaos Insurgency, MC&D or The Global Occult Coalition, Patrich improved and gathered information on relations between them and the foundation
This all changed on 02/12/XXXX when Patrich was sent to Alaska to gather information on a CI base. The location was compromised by a CI operative who cracked under intense "enhanced" interrogation a few months prior... Unfortunately, for once, the Insurgency was one step ahead. The CI operative was captured on purpose, and the site was nothing more than a dummy to stop the effective unit Patrich had been part of. The helicopter landed at the isolated, snowy site before fire was opened upon them
in total, 14 foundation personnel lost their life. Patrich was hit in the head by a ricochet, right under his left eye, blinding him and rendering him in a state of coma for 9 months before he awoke at back at Site-65's medical area.
2 months of rehabilitation later, and Patrich was back in duty.
Patrich was, due to his time in coma, demoted from Manager of DEA, and the directors are yet to take a stance on his reemployment as Special Agent. If not, Patrich stands with no other choice than to start from scratch, building his reputation all over again
