What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is to make the rules/ingame regiments remove Site Administration being a regiment. Or keep it in regiment tab but not counted as one to the maximum of 2 regiments.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I haven't seen anything like this before.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
More gameplay ability for SA/SC
Better health for regiments like AO which allows them to have better numbers and allow SA/SC play them without having to get a SL approved 2nd character
Better ability to play other GOI's without only having to be in one of them (Can't be GOC and CI or the otherway around)
Overall better chances for RP in regiments without it having to be SL approved.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I personnaly don't see much negative in this at all. Only possible downsides i could see is:
Too many roles to hold. But that doesn't really have any effects.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
As i said on the Positives side. This suggestion could bring a lot more RP opportunities for SA/SC to do. As SA/SC is anyways whitelisted. So for example Site Advisor requires the whitelist alongside of being in the regiment of SA.

The reason they're regiments is so that SA can interact with the regiment system e.g. promoting or demoting people. Realistically, there's no reason why everyone shouldn't be allowed to have at least two Foundation characters anyway - they could just up the default limit from 1 to 2.
Site admin already have powers like giving some Whitelists them self (of course not allowed without permission). So could be a bit like that🤷

Could you expand on this bit in relation to your suggestion in its core
As in "We could have more abilities to RP in otherways as to what we can only on Site Admin/Site Command. Example as: We could as RP leads and more spefically like the leads of site (SA/SC) could have more chances of playing as a character in a regiment and try and bring better RP to the regiment with your skills of being SA/SC"

What's stopping you from bringing RP in your current positions to regiments
Just trying to gauge the overall mindset for this

Nothing is stopping it. But getting a more of a experience on how we can make it better and more general loop of their experience of how the RP would go. Rather than saying "Go do this and that" but we could get to feel how it feels to do them too than just ordering around on site.

Neutral.

I see what youre going for here and I do appreciate it. Could it work and possibly do some good? Yes, absolutely. Do I think its needed? No.

Site Admin are senior CL4s and ideally they will have had experience in many departments and roles before ascending to Site Admin.

So, naturally one should already have some idea of each regiment or department's RP before going into Site Admin

Also, while we can dole out a few separate whitelists, not being able to interact with the regiments tab for promotions, demotions, removals, etc. would, I believe, be detrimental.

As an example, I am over Nu-7 currently and I often help them move people around in their regiment tab especially when they are busy, its just something we can do to help our regiments.

This might just be me but, I made sure I was a part of every department/regiment that Site Admin runs before I applied for my position so I would have a good idea of RP and a base of experience going into it, and be able to expand on that. (The only exception to that was Nu-7, I was never a part of Nu-7)

While I agree that sa / sc do need to have experience, it's unlikely any one person will have the chance to experience what it is like to be in every department, as well as all the different roles. Policies and RP leaders change and it's almost impossible to guage what each department needs without a first hand experience.

This is why there are monthly reviews (Pretty sure they still exist) where SA/SC are able to communicate with departments to see how they're performing and what they need to improve.

However it would still be beneficial for SC and SA to have a hands-on experience. I mean what's there to lose?
