What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion will buff SCP-106 in the following ways:

1. - When a player is taken into SCP-106s dimension, they will take 70 damage (armor included).
2. - Significantly increased decay rate while inside the pocket dimension (3 - 5 HP per second?)
3. - Reduce the amount of safe exits from 106s dimension (Such as LCZ Non-Spec and Security Sector), and move them to more dangerous locations (Higher heights, parkour requirements, SCP-096s cell, etc)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Dont think so.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- SCP-106 becomes more fun to play
- SCP-106 more closely follows its lore
- SCP-106 becomes a scarier encounter

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- More player deaths

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
As it stands, SCP-106 is one of the most underwhelming SCPs especially considering it's meant to be "Keter". It's not often fun to play as unless heavily supported by other, more powerful SCPs. However even under these circumstances, SCP-106 is overshadowed by nearly every other SCP in H.C.Z and seems incapable of getting more than 15 kills per breach. Infact, his lack of lethality in his dimension typically leads to his own demise if he happens to take a D-Class and they survive and are captured inside H.C.Z to be used for the Femur Breaker.

From a gameplay standpoint, as I said 106 is not very often fun to play. 95% of players who are taken to 106s dimension can easily survive, making SCP-106 a near-harmless encounter. It's even worse if SCP-106 has to take a D-Class, because chances are that D-Class will survive and be used to easily contain SCP-106 with no counter. This can lead to 106 being contained in minutes after waiting hours to breach, and is very unfun for the player and makes SCP-106 interactions uninteresting and predictable even for the average player. While SCP-106 is invulnerable, he's easy to contain and extremely slow, making him reasonably easy to escape from. To add on to this, the current HCZ layout gives players several routes that lead directly to 106s cell that are impossible defend all at once. Despite this, the survival rate for 106s dimension is far too high to be fun.

From a lore standpoint, SCP-106 could not be farther from his lore counterpart. In his lore, SCP-106s dimension is almost completely impossible to escape from, with few to no recorded instances of someone escaping 106s dimension alive. In the server, it's the complete opposite, with very few instances of players even dying inside the dimension..

Neutral
Rather than making the pocket dimension literally impossible to escape from, I would focus on 106's ability to capture, your suggestion literally makes it impossible for %99 of people who enter to survive.
I would suggest an improved teleport or travel ability, or the establishment of traps.
I believe most of that is already planned. This is a solution to 106s lack of lethality that can be done relatively easily. All of that stuff you mentioned requires time for the developers to code and likely wont be done for years from now.

SCP-106s dimension should not be easy to escape from like it is now. It should be nearly impossible and require alot of knowledge and skill. That's how he is in lore and it makes sense from a gameplay perspective too. SCP-106 is extremely slow, every other player can out-walk him. If you get captured by him that means there's a skill issue, you got ambushed by him, or you took a risk for something and it didn't pan out and now you suffer the consequences of failing the risk you took. Or some people, mostly d-class, get captured intentionally because they know its extremely easy to escape and gives them a way to either insta-contain 106 or to escape into HCZ easier.

A 106 buff is needed, but this makes him too powerful.

1. Immediate damage being taken on entering 106s: While this isn't unreasonable. On combination with extremely increased decay, from 30 Hp (which is the amount of hp most will be in on) you would only have 6-10 seconds to escape. This would not be fun to deal with

2. Increased Decay: This would also be too powerful if ramped up to 3-5hp a sec. However, there could be a system where the more time you are in the pocket dimension, the more decay ramps up

3. Less safe exits: Imma be honest. If you managed to speed run through 106s dimension in under 10 seconds, only to get thrown onto the HCZ spikes. That'd be bullshit. However, instead of this it could just teleport them to slightly more dangerous places, such as 860-1

Even if you escape perfectly without stopping you would still die due to fall damage. I'm all for buffs but this is way too broken of a buff. Maybe add a secondary pocket dimension that could delay them escaping? I can't remember what game it's from but I know there's a hallway version of his dimension they could add to extend how long people are inside.

Bad. The damage you take while in the dimension could stand to be a little more yes, but this is a bit too much.

There are already a significant amount of dangerous exits from 106, on top of a previously accepted suggestion to add more.

I agree that 106 is a little underpowered and could stand to be changed to be a bit more fearsome, but this is the wrong area of focus.

I'm fairly certain it wouldn't even be possible to survive 106's dimension at full running speed with these metrics. At most this will give you like 15-20 seconds of time, so if you have to wait even once for those rotating pillars to come around you're basically dead.

Just saying, the reason people should be able to have a chance of escape is because of the server and its surrounding mechanics, it wouldnt make sense for one aspect of the server to be realistic when 682 can be contained by a magical beam and a few MTF. Being able to escape 106 is more enjoyable for the server and even then many people die in the dimension anyway. Also this would indirectly significantly nerf ERT which is something that should never be the case, as he could surprise a group and send them all in the dimension with many losing at least 100 health and others dying anyway.
This buff would make more sense if it were for Site-9's potential 106 addition, and even then they would probably head in a different direction than how much damage you take, right now SCP-106 is only able to capture people when they are off guard or in a small room, so this wouldn't really increase the danger of 106 but it would just make it near-impossible for most to survive an intentionally survivable attack.

106 needs a buff for the following reasons:

1. His ability is very inconsistent where you don't have an option to who you will teleport, it's just random
2. 106 can be easily countered if you have 5 neurons and a functioning motor unit to use your mouse and keyboard
3. 106 isn't a threat when you can just get grabbed and knowing that you'll make it out 80% of the time. Even I 'excidently' get grabbed so I can recontain him.
4. People who understand the meta can easily counter him, especially when you compare 106 to any other SCP's. It's literally playing tag with a toddler

Suggestion Denied

Hi @FrostByte ,

Thanks for taking the time to make a server suggestion.
The Content Team has chosen to deny your suggestion due to the following reasons:

Currently the content team is happy with 106s interaction with the player base and don't believe an increase in lethality is necessary or would be beneficial for rp. Because it has a unique interaction with the player base we feel a focus on lethality would take away from that and make it less unique.

Your suggestion will now be locked and marked as denied.
