SCP-714 with SCP-099 change

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
While wearing SCP714 (Jade Ring) you have no effect from interacting with the book of common diseases or with the meme photo. This makes sense to me. However SCP-714 does not change the outcome of looking at SCP-099 (the painting with the eye)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Unaware of a similar request.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Would create consistant RP when cross testing SCP-714 in inanimate storage.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Would change anyones exsisting RP of SCP-714 not protecting against all minor cognitohazards.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
SCP-099 is a minor cognito hazard and I feel changing how SCP-714 works with it to be the same as SCP-3078 meme photo or other minor cognitohazards would be more accurate with the lore.

Huh. Didn't think about this. No yeah, this makes sense. This could either be an oversight or a result of some kind of limitation. I'm not sure what limitation there could be with adding a condition to 099's effect that checks for 714, but I wouldn't be particularly surprised if there was some weird interaction.

I imagine 035 is not implemented, but it could be pretty easy honestly, when trying to pick up the mask, check if wearing 714. If wearing 714, then the mask has no effect, with flavour message of it not taking. And then after enough E presses, 035 acts as normal.

Could be on the next press or could be chance-based, with progressively decreasing chance for successive attempts to put on the mask.

It would need to be sufficiently interesting to justify something like taking 714 all the way to 035's CC.
