What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion is for a channel (much like /medical or /gsd) where the SCPs can communicate, but it'd be more than likely an OOC channel since SCPs can't really talk to each other, however I think that it would be good for planning breaches, checking who is breached, etc.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I'm unsure, I personally couldn't find anything relating to it, and it would make the SCP gameplay more than likely go alot smoother, knowing who is breached and whatnot without the other site personnel possibly meta-gaming it or atleast steering them towards that direction of said breach/breaching SCP.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Assists with the gameplay of the SCP
- Helps SCPs coordinate and/or find out who is breached/breaching
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Could be used by others to see what the SCPs are doing and meta-game anyways, just swap to SCP and back however that may be able to be addressed at a later point if this is abused.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe that this could help with the SCP gameplay, making it not as hectic and not having to PM 5 different people seeing who is breached or in the breach queue, and just help overall with maybe assisting other SCPs with location details, or what their powers are etc. I believe that this will smooth out the SCP gameplay alot, since if they did have this channel it could be used to see where all the SCPs are going and what their goal of the breach is, just so that there's not 5 SCPs running about in D-Block/Medical Hallway and then maybe one other SCP trying to solo escape HCZ and having a flood of MTF and SCU on their backs.
If you believe that this shouldn't be added or have any possible crituques of my suggestion please let me know down in the thread comments and I'll try my best to explain my thought process.
Thanks for your time and consideration of my suggestion!
Hopefully it makes it through!
